University of North Bengal, Siliguri was established in the year 1962 under the act of the Legislature of West Bengal. The university is accredited by NAAC with a B++ grade and is recognised by UGC. The university offers a total of 94 courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Some of the top courses offered by North Bengal University are BA, B.Sc, MA, M.Sc, M.Lib.I.Sc, Ph.D and several others.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure is very good as compared to other government universities. The classrooms are proper, the smart boards are available and also they are well maintained. The hygiene is also good as well as the area is peaceful with very less disturbance.
