It typically begins with 6 months of study at SPJIMR Mumbai, followed by 6-18 months at an international partner school. The curriculum includes a preparatory term with online courses (e.g., from Harvard Business Publishing) and foreign language training. It provides a foundational understanding of general management before participants specialise at the partner school, offering dual alumni status.
The programme admits two cohorts annually (January and June). (as per AICTE).
Application fee: ₹ 2000.
SPJIMR Mumbai campus fee (for 6 months): Approximately ₹ 8,70,000+ GST.
Total programme expenses (SPJIMR + partner school): The overall costs, including fees for both SPJIMR and the international partner school (which offers special tuition fees due to the partnership), typically range from approximately ₹ 25 lakhs to ₹ 97 lakhs.
Course Duration 12 to 24 months (overall programme duration, including 6 months at SPJIMR and 6-18 months at the partner school).
- A Bachelor's degree in any stream with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA from a recognised university.
- Valid scores from any of the following entrance examinations: GMAT, GRE, CAT, XAT, or NMAT.
- The programme is open to both fresh graduates and candidates with relevant work experience.
SPJIMR follows a rolling admissions process. Applicants must complete an online application form and pay the processing fee. Candidates may select up to two preferred international partner schools. The application often requires Letters of Recommendation (LoR), a Statement of Purpose (SoP), and a video essay, particularly for the partner school application. Shortlisting is based on a comprehensive profile analysis, which includes academic record, quality of work experience, versatility, achievements, and entrance exam scores. Shortlisted candidates participate in at least two rounds of personal interviews conducted jointly by SPJIMR and the partner schools. Final selection is based on the applicant's overall profile, consistent academic performance, entrance scores, and interview performance.
