60 MonthsBachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course is the duration of 5 years, which include 4 years of curriculum plus 1 year of rotating internship. Offered by NITTE University, Mangalore and approved by Dental Council of India.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have passed in 10+2, with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English as one of the languages of study. The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and should be NEET-UG qualified. NEET qualification is a pre-requisite for admission to BDS. Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear for NEET-UG.
Admission Details
The admission under the General category will be on the basis of inter-se merit ranking in NEET-UG. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will allot seats through the process of centralized counseling.
