Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.

B.Ed. Degree in dual teaching subjects with Interdisciplinary combinations in 14 Teaching Subjects and Provision for Elective Courses. Prepared by the Department of Education, AMU and approved by the Board of Studies of the Department.

14 teaching Subjects offered:-

Languages: English, Hindi, Arabic, Urdu and Malayalam

Social Sciences: History, Geography, Civics, Islamic Studies, Commerce and Economics

Sciences: Physical Science, Biological Science and Mathematics

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.

Admission Details

Admission Shall be Made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is not very well developed in department and facilities are not very good Classrooms do not have proper boards and do not have smart Classrooms .. Classrooms are not very well ventilated It has a good library where students can issue books and have a wifi facility.
