AISSMS College of Pharmacy (AISSMS COP) is a reputed name in pharmacy education and pharmacy practice with all levels of pharmacy programs, the college is affiliated to the University of Pune and has developed a name for imparting quality education in the field of pharmacy. The admission policy of the college is competitive and based on merit for all programs. The admission process for AISSMS COP is carried out in conformity with the academic calendar of the University of Pune. In the undergraduate programs, admissions are based on the scores attained in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) while for the Postgraduate Program, admission is based solely on the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT).
MHT CET for PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group clashed with the date of the online examination on April 8, 2025. The eligibility criterion is passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects for pursuing B. Pharma. Admission will be offered to only those candidates who qualify in MHT CET. For the admission process for M. Pharma., applicants with a B.Pharma degree must also qualify GPAT. For studies at AISSMS COP, 334 seats are available in different programs. The college is NAAC-accredited and recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), which certifies the high standards of pharmaceutical education being offered.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: Admission to B.Pharma is based on MHT CET entrance examination. The college has 100 seats for this four-year undergraduate program. Candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.
M.Pharma: There are specializations offered in M. Pharma at AISSMSCOP in Quality Assurance, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmacology. Admission to all M.Pharma programs is based on the GPAT entry exam. Each specialization accepts an intake of 3 seats; candidates must have obtained a B.Pharma degree in order to be eligible for these 2-year postgraduate programs.
Ph.D.: Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry are offered for Ph.D. programs in the college. Although specific admission details concerning Ph.D. programs are not given, it is assumed that candidates would have obtained their M.Pharm degree and be expected to appear for further entrance tests or interviews as per the university norms.
