Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kottayam is an autonomous college founded in 2001 in Kanjirappally, Kottayam District of Kerala. There are labs in every semester. The lab facility is very good. There are plenty of machines for studying. There are separate libraries for every department in the college. The hostel rooms and bathrooms are clean; however, the hostel food is very bad. Plenty of sports activities are available for both boys and girls
There is a separate hostel for both boys and girls. Most of the rooms are on a 3-sharing basis. Double and single rooms are also available in small numbers. Hostels are very neat, clean, and well-maintained. Rooms are cleaned occasionally. Bathrooms are cleaned every day. Mess food is also good and hygienic.
There are big classrooms for each stream and each year. Also, they provide lab facilities, but some labs are very pathetic as they have very old and damaged equipment. The hostel they provide is very bad, especially the food, which is not even cooked properly.
