Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: For general category admissions candidates must be citizens of India.
Age: Applicants should have completed 17 years on 31, December.
Academic Requirements: Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for admissions. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry or Computer Science the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science, or Biotechnology the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered. The marks as shown in the mark list of the Board of Examination obtained from the respective Higher Secondary Board shall be considered for academic eligibility. Rounding off the percentage of marks to the nearest whole number is not permitted.

Admission Details

Candidates should qualify (a minimum of 10 marks each in Paper I and Paper II) in the Engineering Entrance Exam conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala (KEAM) and should be listed in KEAM Rank List or JEE Eligibility.

College Infrastructure

There are big classrooms for each stream and each year. Also, they provide lab facilities, but some labs are very pathetic as they have very old and damaged equipment. The hostel they provide is very bad, especially the food, which is not even cooked properly.

College Infrastructure

Amal Jyothi College of Engineering has a good infrastructure and facilities. It has a well-equipped gym, a department library, and well-equipped laboratories. The classrooms have large computer screens like smartclass. The hostel is one of the best hostels with good infrastructure compared to other engineering colleges

College Infrastructure

The college possess a vast infrastructure. The classes and labs are spacious and well equipped. The library has a large collection of subject related books. The playgrounds and auditorium are well maintained. The canteen is also very hygienic.
