Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year duration full-time course offered by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India for general category admission.
Age: Applicants should have completed 17 years of age last December 31st.
Academic Requirements: Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for admission. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science, and Biotechnology the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered. The marks as shown in the mark list of the Board of Examination obtained from the respective Higher Secondary Board shall be considered for academic eligibility. Rounding off of the percentage of marks to the nearest whole number is not permitted.

Admission Details

Entrance Examination: Candidates should qualify (a minimum of 10 marks each in Paper I and Paper II) in the Engineering Entrance Exam conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala(KEAM) and should be listed in KEAM Rank List.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure of this campus is astounding as it is very beautiful and modern. Library is also pretty big with a lot of books for readers. For B.Tech CSE course, the college provides Apple iOS labs for a good experience. Classrooms and grounds are average but canteen is good.

It is a good college to study.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of our college is good. Our department has very efficient and systematic labs. Labs include an algorithms lab, a hi-tech lab, an IoT lab, a science lab, and two general labs. Our college provides separate computers for students. LAN sessions are well-managed by faculty members. All classrooms are powered and equipped with smart class facilities. Wi-Fi connectivity is available in classrooms.

One of the best colleges in Kerala.

College Infrastructure

The classrooms are all equipped with high-tech project screens and tables with ports for charging our devices. All students have access to college Wi-Fi. There are many computer labs with air conditioning. Additionally, there are other labs such as the mechanics lab. The food provided in the college and hostel is vegetarian, with some dishes containing eggs. However, the hostel food quality is very poor.
