Amal Jyothi College of Engineering is a great college in terms of the infrastructure. The cleanliness, aesthetic and scenic beauty will win you win over. The college has world-class infrastructure in terms of classes, libraries, computer labs, Wifi, canteen and hostel. The skywalk connecting the hostels is one of its kind. The campus also has a solar power generator. There is laundry service at hostels and the hostel mess is above average if not good. The corporate exposure is limited to talks from industry experts around placements. There is limited amount of training in terms of the latest in the industry, which can also be chalked up to the lack of experience in the faculty. The average experience among the faculty is less than three years, roughly. This inexperience has resulted in detachment from the latest in industry standards and the faculty as well as the quality of education available to the students. The apparent strictness because of the catholic management of the college may appear to be constricting the students, but in my opinion it is necessary to manage discipline. The ban on mobile phones is useless and adds to resentment among students towards the college. The lack of politics / elections ensures smooth flowing of classes. The wifi on its availability is useful, but because of various restrictions has made it difficult to use. In terms of placements, the placements are good for IT related fields, but is lacking for other streams of engineering. The IEDC center has enabled students to innovate, which is a big plus to the college and the incubation centre adds fire to the entrepreneurial spirit of the users.

One of the best colleges in Kerala. Infrastructure is the best you can find anywhere. Everything is updated and running the latest tech. It is located away from the hustle of the city. The faculty is good, they know their stuff. The management is quite rough and strict, it's managed by catholic priests. There is no freedom at all. No celebrations, nothing. Forget about college life if you're joining here. Hostels are decent, but the wardens are terrible. No freedom in the hostel too and mobile phones are banned. Mess food is not up to the mark and they charge 3.9k per month as mess fees. Overall it is a good place if you're willing to sacrifice A LOT. Teaching, staff and all is good but the management and the wardens destroy your college life.

It's a good college, not bad.college was alright for me may not be the best nor the worst. I feel that the Management don't respect honest opinions nor predicaments that do not agree with the college's view. college is very strict. strict faculty and extreme discipline make life difficult here. Apart from that, I made good friends and had wonderful time

Amal Jyothi is a college has a strong reputation amongst all engineering colleges. It is one among the top engineering colleges in the state. Keeping all that aside, the truth abt the college is that. It is actually a school and we are treated like kids here. Academically top ranked.

Too Strict a college

Honestly, let's say. Its too strict to be called a college. The profs themselves treat as children. We have no freedom even in our hostels. But education wise, I doubt if there are colleges in this vicinity that can rank up to our standards. AJCE is really good for kids who want to learn.

Frankly speaking, if you really love engineering then this would the best option as a campus choice in Kerala. The college is strict and doesn't encourage many cultural events. I love it only because I have the best set of friends possible. The teachers, infrastructure, etc are top notch.

AJCE is one of the best colleges in our state. The college infrastructure itself proves the point. Every student leaving this college would surely have the clear cut idea of their future. The faculty and the labs are awesome. But like everything this college too has its drawback. It can also be labelled the strictest college in town. Cultural activities are held but extra classes will be taken to compensate the lost lessons.

Amal Jyothi college has one of the best infrastructures in Kerala and gives a lot of importance to greenery. The management focuses on maintaining a clean environment at all times. The practices and strict principles followed by the college has helped to train us into well disciplined students. The faculty is very friendly and they have always put in their best to help us. The training programmes implemented by the college for developing our skills has indeed helped us a lot. The hostels too are pretty strict.

Amal Jyothi is affiliated to MG university, Kottayam. It offers many science and technology courses ranging from Computer science to Metallurgy. Infrastructure structure is very good. Labs, Library, class rooms and cafeteria facilities are very good. On the other hand, quality of faculty can be still improved. Placements need to be improved alot to meet the expectations of prospective students in future. And hostel facilities are very good in terms of food, rooms and recreation chances. I recommend this college personally.
