The infrastructure is quite disappointing. Many classrooms feel old, maintenance is poor, and basic facilities need improvement. The campus lacks a modern feel, making the overall student experience less comfortable.
The academics are average and could be much better. Classes are not always conducted regularly, practical exposure is limited, and the teaching approach often feels outdated, leaving students to rely on self-study, but teachers are helpful very much.
The placement support is quite weak. Very few companies visit the campus, and the opportunities offered are limited. Most students have to search for jobs or higher studies on their own. No placement committee is there.
Not at all value for money.
No campus life is there.
Just a normal college.
The college infrastructure needs many improvement. Many classrooms and washrooms are poorly maintained, smells too, and several facilities feel outdated, dogs excreted, no environment for study. The campus lacks a modern, comfortable environment for students.
The academics are decent, with supportive teachers and a structured study routine. Regular classes and assignment, projects learning help students build a good foundation, though there is still room for improvement, need good faculties.
The placement opportunities are quite limited. No companies come for visiting, and many students have to search for jobs on their own. Better industry connections and career support are needed. Mostly needed
Not at all value for money

Not at all
Bad campus
Not a good college.
The infrastructure is in very poor condition. The walls are damaged, and water is leaking through them. The overall condition of the building is extremely poor. Hygiene and cleanliness are inadequate, and dog excretas were found inside the building premises
Very poor academics condition, teachers were not supportive, lack of availability of good teachers, they don't help us in studies, limited availability of qualified teachers, library is good, teachers give study materials.
Not so good placement committee, very bad condition in placement, don't expect a job after graduation from this college, basically not so good in giving placement, bad structure, there is no committee .
Not at all value for money
So so campus life
Asansol girls' college is a very good college especially for BA and BSC courses. The laboratories are well equiped and contains a large number specimens . The teachers are well qualified. Campus is cleaned and hygienic.
Zoology department of the college is large and beautiful. Laboratories contains all necessary equipments, chemicals, specimens and all are very updated and maintained time by time . There is also a library in the department along with a central college library.
Placement is available only for few departments like bca and computer science etc but not for all departments and placements are done good companies like wipro, camgemini etc. About 70% students get placements every year .
Per semester cost approx 4 thousand rupees . The money is slightly high than other colleges of the university but I am satiesfied with the studies and knowledges i gathered from the college and so I think the money is worthy .
The college is at a very good position at a little distance from the court area and the surroundings environment is very calm and quiet . The campus is cleaned and hygienic with a medium sized playground and lots of trees and flowering plants are there . Students are engaged in NCC and NSS.
Everything is good for a student to study there and one can also succeed in life by passing out from the college but there is a need of proper campusing placement for every departments . Side by side it will also very helpful if there will be certain internship programmes in the college for the students.
I have studied Nutrition hons. from Asansol Girls' College. The faculties are good and efficient in their job. The structure of the college building as well the benches of the college is old fashioned. But the college faculties take steps to provide good and latest aboratory instruments.
When it comes to academics Asansol Girls' College stands out in Aansol, Durgapur region. It is one of the oldest and renowned college in the locality. Students from different districts of West Bengal come to study in this college. The faculties are efficient in their job. They help students in studies and encourages them to participate in different cultural programs as well as workshops and seminars. They take the students for conferences and excursions. Professors, even the other official staffs are very helpful to students.
It is a ordinary degree college. There is no placement system in this college. But in few departments teaching facilities help the students to choose the proper field for the growth of students. They even suggest various colleges for higher studies. College let some organizations to help students, especially for the competitive exams. Apart from these, T There is no scope of getting job opportunities from the college itself.
Asansol Girls' College is a government aided college under UGC. The fees structure is different for different departments. What I heard that computer science department and microbiology department has to pay large some of money as compared to other science branches. Arts section has least money to pay.
Campus life would be different for different one. Mine was fine. Not too great neither the bad.
The infrastructure was quite nice and bit old. Its a very old college so the infrastructure was also nice. The classes were quite cool even in warm weather. It had a canteen which provides fresh and good food.
The facilities are quite nice they treat you like your own children and taught us with full potential. If you don't understand a particular thing they qre ready to teach you as many time as you want. They will try these level best to make you understand the portion.
The placement system is not very nice to be honest. Very few people get the opportunity to get placement from this collage. In an average only five percent f the students gets placement with very less salary.
The fees was quite less compared to all others and the reason being it was a government college. The fees was less but the way they taught was quite nice. Since the faculty was nice the money was quite less compared to that.
It was average , the professors were nice and the connection between the teacher and student was good. The campus was quite old so it gave vintage vibes. It was eco friendly had lots of treas. Sport's and yearly programs were conducted.
Had gallery classes for a few subjects. The library was decently well equipped. Library staff were polite and helped out if needed. Collection of academic books were up to the mark. Could find reference books for studies. The environment was clean. The canteen food was clean and hygienic.
Professors were very well versed and had a good understanding of what they were supposed to teach. Quite often they referred to the library for additional reference books and we could find them there. they were very supportive.
There were no options for placement in our college. This course doesn't offer any placements. It prepares you for higher education exams - university level. The teacher guided us through the process and helped out if we had doubts.
Compared to the to the other colleges of which offered this course, this one too had similar fees. The teaching was good and it prepares you for further higher education. I did get my money's worth.
Didn't opt for hostel. Seniors were very helpful. The college didn't have much of a campus apart from a few benches to sit on.
Overall, it was a good experience. Good teachers and infrastructure, clean environment. We had winter sports, yearly.
My college doesn’t have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. Our classroom remains very dirty not at all clean ,, sprts centre is pathetic, many books are not available in our library
I am studying mathematics honours here because this is only girls college thats why I chose this college.. the quality of teachers is very poor. Our curriculum is not updated and haven’t included all the recent developments
The quality of placement is not good. Students are disturbed about their placement. I don’t know about the percentage of students placed. Placement process is not easy and pleased and our college was bit supportive in this matter
My course costed 8000rs . I don’t think that my money are getting worth
I don’t like this college. I don’t have good experience here. Though in our time we didn’t attend college much due to covid pandemic. Teachers only read books and doesn’t explain them properly faculty is not good .. Cultural program are good teachers give full support to students .. but in our freshers party we only have to pay the amount then we get freshers party and in farewell party also it’s same.. College campus is not that good cleanliness is not upto the mark .. I don’t like this college
The college has overall all the necessary infrastructure and facilities and equipment. The faculty is very good. The classrooms are well maintained. There are two libraries. Various types of books are available in the library. Free wifi facility is available for students.
I am studying here Bsc Botany because their botany department is excellent. The quality of teaching is very good. Teachers are cooperative. They help students in the off period. They guide the students to build up their career.
The placement cell is not available here. Students are interested to do higher studies mostly. So, the placement facility is not available for students. After completing Bsc either they do Msc or MBA or MCA.
The fees are not so less but not so high. The semester fees are 1,150/- for Bsc students. For arts students the fees are little bit less because they have no such lab classes. If someone want to do graduation from here she can complete her degree within 7000/-.
College campus is very good. It is only for female students. Hostel facility is also available here. The location of the college is also very good. Cultural events are organized by the college. Within two years Annual fest is organized by the college.
The college is well disciplined. Ragging is strictly prohibited here.
