Bose Institute Kolkata Library has a huge collection of books on physical and biological science and offers library services through its various Divisions. It is a special science reference Library, primarily meant for the use of its research staff i.e. faculty members and research scholars and staff of the Institute. It is also frequently used by the faculty members and research scholars of other Institutes and Universities located in Kolkata and West Bengal.

Development of research instruments has always been an integral part of Bose Institute’s academic culture. All the Instruments of J. C.Bose were designed as well as fabricated in-house. This tradition continues even today which makes the Workshop a crucial department of Bose Institute. Workshop plays a vital role in fulfilling the stringent requirements of our Institute ranging from the fabrication of the Instruments to the maintenance of electrical installation.
