Cluny Women's College had a peaceful and clean campus. Though the campus was not very big, but it had well maintained classrooms, library and a small canteen. The library had sufficient books for Political Science and other departments too. It had hostel facilities for outstation students where they lived happily and peacefully. There was big lawn where students used to study during exams or free time, had lunch with the friends and chat. They had the Hall where programs were organized and morning prayer was held before starting the classes. Few indoor sports competitions were also held where students as well teachers participated.

I studied BA Political Science Honours, batch 2022. The quality of teaching in our department was good as well in other departments. They were very helpful and supportive. They were very experienced and explained the topics clearly. Though we had online classes due to Covid, but they put lots of effort to teach us. The curriculum was as per the University of North Bengal, it covered all the core concepts. We used to have frequent class test which helped us a lot.

It was a general degree college, placements opportunities were limited, especially for BA Political Science Honours. The college did not have a placement cell for our course during our batch. Most of the students opted for higher studies like MA, B.Ed. or prepared for competitive exams. But our teachers guided us about career options and higher studies.

The course was affordable. Since its a government aided college under North Bengal University, the fees in our college were low compared to other private colleges. Even the middle-class family could easily afford it. With those fees, we got good quality teaching, library facilities and decent infrastructure.

Campus life at Cluny College was good and safe as it's a women's college. The campus was clean and well disciplined. We had freshers, farewell, cultural program and indoor sports competition participated by both teachers and students. The college had strict rules regarding attendance and discipline. There was no ragging. The staffs were also very supporting the other students as well.
