CIET, or Columbia Institute of Engineering and Technology, was established in the year 2008. The affiliated college comes under the care of the All India Council for Technical Education and provides various undergraduate and graduate courses in engineering and management. The campus, that spreads over 10.84 acres near Vidhan Sabha, provides an ideal atmosphere for pursuit of academic goals. At present, the institute has a total enrolment of 630 students. It is supported by 100 dedicated faculty members. CIET Raipur offers 13 courses in 4 degree programmes with specialisation in many engineering disciplines and management studies.

The institute offers 8 undergraduate courses, 3 diploma programmes, and 2 postgraduate courses. The BE courses are available in Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The courses offered for aspirants who want a diploma programme are available in Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering. The institutes offer one course at Master's level that is MBA, M.Tech of Computer Technology and Thermal Engineering.
