DAV College, Chandigarh Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

DAV College Chandigarh offers admission to several bachelor's, master's, diploma, and doctoral degree programmes. There are a total of 35 courses offered by DAV College Chandigarh at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. DAVCHD admission process to all the programmes is based on the marks obtained by students in 10+2.

The DAVC Chandigarh UG admission is done differently for centralised courses (BBA, BCA, B.Com and others) and non-centralised courses (BA, B.Ed, B.Voc, UG diplomas).

DAV College Chandigarh UG Admission Process

• Candidates must meet the DAVCHD UG eligibility criteria, to apply for admission. 

• The candidate needs to register online on the official website of DAVCHD 10 Chandigarh for non-centralised admission (domicile candidates)

• For centralised admission (All India candidates), they must register with the Directorate of Higher Education Chandigarh Admission (dhe.ch.gov.in).

• Candidates should fill out the registration form carefully and pay the registration fee.

• The registration will be considered successful after registration fee payment. 

• The candidate must take the printout of the registration form and fee payment receipt. 

• The admission will be based on academic merit. Hence, the merit list will be prepared based on the scores of class 12.

• So, the candidate must visit the official site regularly for merit list updates. 

• Candidates whose names appear on the merit list should get their documents verified and pay the DAV College Chandigarh fees to confirm admission. 

The DAV admission to undergraduate degree programmes MA, M.Com, and M.Sc is provided based on marks obtained by the candidate in their undergraduate degree. The DAV College admission to M.Sc is offered based on the entrance exam PUCET. 

DAVC Chandigarh PG Eligibility Criteria

•  For DAVC Chandigarh PG admission, the students must have completed their undergraduate with a minimum of 50 per cent marks from a recognised university of India or equivalent. 

• Candidates who meet the DAV College eligibility must pay the fee and submit the documents. 

• After the submission of the application form, a provisional merit list is released and the students are required to check if the details mentioned are authentic or not. In case there is a discrepancy, students are required to contact the admin office and get the mistakes rectified. 

• After this process, the final merit list is released of students who get admitted to the institute. 

• Students are then required to pay their fees and get their documents verified.  

The DAV College admission to diploma courses is provided based on marks obtained by the students in their high school. Students are required to follow the following steps to get admission to undergraduate programmes in DAV Chandigarh:

• To be eligible for DAV admission, a student must have passed their high school. 

• Candidates eligible for DAV admission must submit the application form.

Candidates are required to bring at least one set of photocopies of the mentioned documents to the DAVCHD campus at the time of admission.
