The College provides a well-equipped laboratory for students to carry out their innovative and scientific experiments. The laboratory is designed in a unique sitting pattern to facilitate the imparting of instructions as well as have freedom of movement between desks for the instructor to assist students individually. Infrastructure is upgraded to meet the requirements of changing technology and the University syllabi. These labs will enable the students to develop skills and train them for jobs. A hostel is a form of low-cost, short-term shared sociable lodging where students can rent a bed, usually a bunk bed in a dormitory, with shared use of a lounge. Our hostels, aesthetically structured and equipped with the latest amenities provide a cosy and comfortable environment to the resident girl students – A Home away from Home. Lush green lawns and spacious open spaces provide a rich atmosphere creating a penchant for higher learning. Spacious, airy, well-lit rooms house around 150 students. Resident students can live like a family here helping one another in their time of need. They are assisted by the hostel staff to make them feel at home. Hostels function under the strict supervision of the college principal and hostel in charge whose priority is the security of the resident girls. CCTV cameras have been installed at specific points in the college to keep strict vigilance. All hostel rooms are very well-ventilated and properly lit. The rooms also have balconies. All necessary furniture like a chair a study table a bed excluding bedding a cupboard a ceiling fan is provided. The students find here a congenial atmosphere for studies. Rooms will be allotted to the students according to the plan prepared as per their respective classes and streams. A resident can shift from the allotted room with the permission of the hostel committee.
The college has a health care center with a first and facility for the students.
It is said that one can’t live well, love well, and sleep well if one has not dined well. A full stomach and a sated appetite aren’t just physically necessary, but food plays a major role in being a communal thread of connection as well as fostering a sense of individual well-being. After all, Virginia Woolf must have had a reason to say, “Tragedies come in the hungry hours!” The canteen in the college is significant to a student’s college life. The canteen is the place where friendships are forged and the hostilities end. The brainstorming sessions during sharing a cup of tea can generate innovative ideas for assignments and projects, and well, for vacations as well. Our college has one spacious tastefully furnished canteen. It has an indoor sitting capacity for more than 30 students with a scenic view of college lawns. The quality and hygiene of food served in the canteen are regularly checked by the canteen committee. The college believes in the aphorism of a healthy body being a requisite for a fertile mind and a calm soul. Hence, the canteen has menus which offer nutritious and appetizing food to ensure a good diet. Fruit juice, sandwiches, pakoras, hot gulab jamuns, samosas etc are available in the canteen. The canteen has a highly skilled kitchen staff who ensure the smooth functioning of the canteen.
