Galsi Mahavidyalaya, Burdwan Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college provides free wi-fi facility to its students within the campus. The initiative was taken during the lockdown period during COVID-19 when the total education system was shifted to online mode. The college had several students who couldn’t afford the charges for accessing the internet to attend the online classes. So, the college came forward to help them by providing free wi-fi services so that they can join the online classes and access the study materials available on the college website. Even after that crisis period was over, the college continued the facility for the academic benefit of the students. For that purpose, the college provides free wi-fi presently with a speed of 100 Mbps, with separate routers for every floor for better availability of the network. The students can also use the internet facility from the reading room adjacent to the college library.
