Selection of candidates for a 4-year B.Pharma degree at GIST is based on OJEE results. There are 100 seats in the institute under the B.Pharma course. Eligible candidates must pass 10+2 examinations under the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. They should have also passed the OJEE for admission.
M.Pharma Pharmaceutics specialisation is offered by GIST and has a strength of 15 seats, with admission determined on the merit basis of candidates at PGAT (BPUT). The qualification needed for degree eligibility in this course should be a B.Pharma from a recognised university.
M.Pharma Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance course is presented in 9 seats for admission based on merit through PGAT (BPUT) examination, as in the same lines as M.Pharma Pharmaceutics.
