24 MonthsPost Basic B.Sc Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course offered by Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should have passed B.Sc Nursing/ B.Sc Post basic Nursing with minimum 55% marks in case of general category candidates and minimum passed marks in case of SC/ST category candidates.
- The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife with any state Nursing Registration Council.
- Should have at least one year of work experience at the time of joining of course in bed side nursing or Public Health Nursing or Nursing educational institutes recognized by Indian Nursing Council after B.Sc Nursing or before or after Post basic B.Sc Nursing.
- The candidates after admission to M.Sc Nursing Course shall have to get register with Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai
- Candidates who have passed qualified examination from IGNOU, New Delhi will be considered for admission only if his/her study center is recognized by Indian Nursing Council New Delhi
