GCW, Srinagar offers admission to only women candidates in a variety of courses. Female candidates can apply to Government College for Women, Srinagar in courses like B.Sc, BA, BA Hons and MCA (Integrated). Admission to GCW Srinagar UG courses is through CUET (UG) and Class 12th results for non-CUET (UG) candidates. Female candidates must appear for CUET (UG), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and obtain a valid score. Seats are allocated through the Jammu and Kashmir Common Seat Allocation System. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria for GCW courses before applying for admission.

Candidates can also apply for admission to Government College for Women, Srinagar in person when seats have fallen vacant for courses. The seat intake and eligibility criteria for GCW Srinagar courses are given below.

Candidates are required to fulfill the GCW UG eligibility criteria and then apply for the Common University Entrance Test- Under Graduate (CUET-UG).
After the registration, Candidates are required to appear for CUET UG and obtain a valid score.
Afterwards, candidates should apply to J&K (UT) Higher Education Department, Undergraduate Admission Portal jkadmission.samarth.ac.in.
Through the J&K common seat allocation system (JKCSAS), candidates must choose their preference.
The GCW UG selection process will be solely based on the marks obtained in CUET (UG).
After that, the allocation list will be declared. Candidates must check their JKCSAS dashboard and accept the seat allocation. After the allocation of preferred seats, students have to visit the GCW Srinagar campus.
