Government Degree College, Marheen Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College library functions important information and knowledge resource center, fulfilling most of the academic needs of students, teaching faculty, and other staff members. Currently, the library has 4327 books comprising 3847 General Subject Books, 150 Reference Books, and 330 books for Competitive Exams.

The Department of Physical Education and the NSS Unit of GDC Marheen celebrated National Sports Day by organizing a series of sports activities from the 23rd of August to the 29th of August. On the 1st day Fit, India Pledge was taken on the College premises, on the 2nd day Sac Racing and on the 3rd day Lemon Race was carried out, on the 4th day of activities chess competition, and on the 5th-day Carom competition was conducted among the students of GDC Marheen and the 6th day was celebrated and concluded with the Tug of War in the college premises. The programme was organized under the patronage of the Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Anupama Gupta. She paid tribute to Major Dhyan Chand's achievements in developing Indian Sports and also motivated students to actively participate in games and sports for their proper growth and development.
