The college has believed in the innovative use of information technology to enhance the way we perform. Our core missions of academics, research, and public service serve as key enabling resources in achieving ongoing improvements in our operating performance. An air-conditioned state-of-the-art computer lab with 50 branded workstations networked with unlimited internet access and Wi-Fi connectivity across the campus, is part of the rich resourceful learning center of our Institute. The computer dome or the lab has upgraded computers with state-of-the-art computing resources providing one-to-one access to the students. The computer lab has the latest software applications and high-caliber UPS to ensure uninterrupted operations.

The college cafeteria is a large spacious area, with a greenery view all around. The college cafeteria offers a variety of vegetarian refreshments and meals. It is the most popular place on campus, not only for physical refreshments but also for student bonding, discussions, and even work on assignments and projects. The Cafeteria not only provides a vibrant atmosphere and unleaded fuel for the day but also is an effective way to put forth a new learning method called the “Cafeteria approach”. This is a new method of learning in an informal manner which helps in nurturing interpersonal skills among students.

The college has the platform of HKKB (HK Knowledge Base) for organizing seminars at the Institute level as well as at the National level. We conduct a National Seminar once a year on a wide variety of topics. Every year posters and papers, review and research-based, are invited based on a theme. So far it’s been one of the successful highlights of HKCP. We also take this opportunity for Industry and academic interaction, because such an obvious kind of interaction does not occur in a structured manner, as both sides maintain a distant relationship.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college offers a secured Wi-Fi network to access high-speed wireless internet in a reliable manner anywhere in the campus building. Wi-Fi means ‘wireless fidelity’ and is a globally used wireless technology used without a cabled network. This facility is provided, as our students enjoy getting access through the entire digital web network and technology without any interference.

The college has classrooms of HKCP that have diffused lighting, walls, and ceilings that are designed to achieve the best acoustic balance. These classrooms equipped with LCD projection system together with microphone and public address system provide world-class facilities. Every lecture theatre is fitted with a whiteboard and has a comfortable sitting capacity for 60 students in each class.
