Heramba Chandra College, Kolkata Admission Process
The college offers admissions to a total of 11 courses. HCC Kolkata admissions are only offered to courses at the UG level. Admission to all the courses is offered on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. The qualifying examination being the 10+2 level examination. HCC Kolkata UG Admission Process
Fulfilling the eligibility criteria is the first step for admission to Heramba Chandra College Kolkata.
Eligible candidates need to apply for admission to the University of Calcutta.
Merit list will be released based on the marks secured by candidates in the qualifying examination.
Candidates will be offered admission to HCC Kolkata based on the rank secured by them.

Academics
Professors are so kind to teach and ever single one is scholar. Most of teachers hold doctorate degree on his specialization. It ranks 2nd or 3rd in academics in commerce stream in kolkata. It generated enough icons as ex-student.
College Infra
OMG ...it's pretty good. According to average kolkata 's college it's pretty good. It's mainly 3 floored building with shiney yellow colour. At the top floor there's library and several rooms to hang out. Besides there's auditorium.. common room..union room and many more.
Campus Life
Personally, i have had a great campus life with bestest friend possible. Beyond family status , I got a lot of friends with decent behaviour. We used to shop near Gariahat or hang out in rabindra sarovar that is nearby.
Placements
As b.com(hons.) is a general stream you cannot expect a very good amount if salary just by doing b.com. But still this college offers you decent placements like 3-6 LPA ob an average. But you can earn more by enhancing your skill.
Value For Money
Yes definitely , one should run and grab this college. As professors are enough intelligent and free minded to teach you something according your problems , one curious student definitely attend this.

Academics
Academics was also not great it is poor. There was a lot of political activities because of the involvement of union. The teachers take classes on time but most of the teachers teach in Bengali and we have request for teaching in English.
College Infra
The infrastructure facility is considerably poor. The fans looks old which reminds me of the British era. This is a government college. There is a small canteen with very limited options. Bench in the classroom are old.
Campus Life
There was no such campus life. It was just normal.
Placements
There is nothing as such placement. Very less number of companies visit the campus and mostly the salary offered was around 10k to 15k per month. There was no formal training provided by the college before sitting in interviews.
Value For Money
The overall fees paid over a couse of 3 years is just 18,000 and still companies like Wipro, ICICI Prudential etc was offering 10K to 16k which is pretty decent. Classes used to happen but attendance was manageable.

Professors are very helpful. All the faculty teachers and professors are equally involved creating a better learning environment. Campus life is engaging since several clubs and as well as students engage in competitions.
College Infra
A good infrastructure with a very good learning environment. Professors are very helpful. All the faculties and management serves a great purpose. All the floors, classrooms, library as well as ground are well maintained. College canteen is way hygienic.
Campus Life
Social life in this college is very engaging. Fests happens as well as several clubs and students participate in several inter college competitions. This competitive spirit makes campus life way more engaging.
Placements
Well known companies come for placement offers which actually helps in career growth for the Students. Opportunities are made that helps the students grow. Companies with a good package offers placements which is actually a very good opportunity.
Value For Money
The fees are way affordable making it easy for several students who are financially struggling.
