IIMS Bangalore offers MBA seats in the government and management quota. 50% of seats are allotted through the KEA Government and the remaining 50% are management seats. IIMS Bangalore has 60 MBA seats, 30 are KEA govt seats and 30 are management seats. 1 seat is for the PH category, two for HK, and 27 for RK.

Note: HK means seats reserved for students belonging to the Hyderabad-Karnataka region which includes some districts Bidar, Gulbarga, Yadgir, Raichur, Koppal and Bellary. RK means Reserved category of Karnataka itself, including SC, ST and OBC. SPL is for Defence category students.
