The FPRM is a full-time residential programme requiring a minimum of four years for completion. The fellowship is available for a maximum duration of four years. The maximum period within which a participant must graduate is six years from the date of joining the programme unless exigencies of a specific situation demand extension by one more year at the most.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Requirements for FPM (RM) 2024:

To be eligible for admission to the FPM (RM) 2024 programme an applicant must satisfy the following two conditions:

Eligibility:

Anybody with a Master’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering and Technology / Management / Economics / Social Science / Biological Science / Pure Science / Commerce / Humanities with FIRST CLASS from a recognized university or institution can apply. Those expecting to complete the final exams of these degrees by July 01,

Those appearing for their final examination in the respective discipline can also apply. Such students if selected shall be provisionally admitted provided they complete all requirements in obtaining their Master’s Degree before 30th September of the year of admission. The admission of these candidates shall remain provisional until they produce the mark sheet proving that they satisfy the eligibility criteria. The deadline for submitting the final year mark sheet is 31st December.

The percentage of aggregate marks is to be calculated as per the practice followed by the concerned university or institution. In case the university/institution does not have a scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence will be established by IRMA by dividing the obtained CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100.

Qualifying Exams:

Having valid scores/results of the last five years in any of the following standard qualifying exams or tests: CAT, XAT, GMAT/GRE, UGC-JRF/NET, CSIR-JRF/NET, ICAR-SRF, ICAR/ASRB-NET, GATE or CMAT.

Research Proposal:

All eligible applicants must submit along with their application a primary and secondary areas research proposal of about 5000 words. The proposal should cover topic/problem of the proposed research, its relevance, objectives and methodology of the study, and expected results or findings.

If the secondary area would like to have a detailed proposal in the secondary area the candidate may be requested to submit the same.

The area will assess the research proposal and shortlist the individuals for the second stage of the admission process that would include a research proposal presentation and personal interview.

Jurisdiction:

The entire admissions process at the Institute shall be subject to the Jurisdiction of the Courts of Anand.

Admission Details

The final selection of candidates will be determined by evaluating their research proposal presentation, conducting face-to-face interviews, considering their professional backgrounds, and assessing their academic achievements. The decisions made by the Admissions Committee concerning the admission procedure and the final selection criteria will be final.
