      Jijamata College of Science and Arts, Bhende,and is now located in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. It is an important college in the country as it provides a lot of undergraduate and postgraduate courses under science and arts disciplines. The college is accredited by NAAC in the 'A' grade format, and has become known as the best institution for higher education in the region. The admission process at Jijamata College of Science and Arts, Bhende, is inclusive and very simple for students. Most of the procedures for admission into this college start about a month or so after the announcement of 12th standard results, when the admission cycle for the next academic year will be announced.       Eligibility for undergraduate courses comprises candidates who passed their 12th standard (Higher Secondary) from a recognized board. It is an open undergraduate course that includes a B.Sc, or B.A., or B.Com, or B.Sc in Computer Science. The master's degree programs include MA in Economics and Marathi, and M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry, Botany, and Computer Science. For these courses, applicants need to have relevant bachelor's degrees before they can apply. Jijamata college prescribes for merit-based admission system, where they rank the candidates usually based on their performance in the qualifying examination.       2. Application Form: Candidates should obtain either from the college campus or download it from the official website, as some programs might provide online application facilities.

      3. Filling the Application: Application form is to be filled in as required with all personal and academic details being mandatory. Check matters properly before handing in the submission.

      4. Document Submission: They need to submit photocopies of the required documents along with the application form:

      • 10th and 12th standard mark sheets
      • School leaving certificate
      • Character certificate
      • Caste certificate (if applicable)
      • Recent passport-size photographs

      5. Application Submission: Applications should be filled and submitted to the admission office of the college, along with all the necessary documents, before the specified deadline; otherwise, applications may be rejected.

      6. Publication of Results on Merit List: After scrutinizing all applications, the college will publish the merit list for selected candidates. Usually, this information is printed both on the notice board of the college and on its website.

      Degree wise Admission Process

      B.Sc: The B.Sc course at Jijamata College has 240 seats. Admissions will be granted per merit based on marks secured in class 12 in science subjects. In addition, the college has various specializations under the B.Sc program.

      BA: The BA program is also having admittance of 240 seats. Those students who passed their 12th standard examination in arts or equivalent stream are eligible to apply. Admission is generally done based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

      B.Com: With 120 seats available, B.Com caters to students interested in commerce and business studies. Admission is done based on their 12th standard marks, with preference given to students from the commerce stream.

      B.Sc Computer Science: This specialized course has a student intake of 80. Candidates who have a strong mathematical background and knowledge of computer science in 12th standard are preferred for this program. The admission process may also take into account students' scores in those specific subjects.

      MA Economics: There are 60 seats for the postgraduate course in Economics at the college. Candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics or related fields, may apply. Admission will also take into account the graduation marks and possibly through an entrance test or interview.

      M.Sc Programs: The M.Sc courses available at the college are in Analytical Chemistry, Botany, and Computer Science. While particular seat numbers for these courses have not been supplied, entry into them generally relies on performance within the candidate's relevant bachelor's degree.
