‘Asthra Jyothi’ - A Mega Quiz Event will be organised at JEC Thrissur. Candidates can register till 23rd September 2023.
Jyothi Engineering College, established in 2002, was founded by the Catholic Archdiocese of Trichur and is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram. The college imparts technical education and offers engineering courses like B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. The disciplines of JEC courses are provided in Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Power Electronics, Transportation Engineering, Robotics and Automation and more. One can apply for admission either through management or government quota. Admission to JEC Thrissur is entrance-based or academic-based (B.Tech through government quota). Candidates are provided financial assistance through JEC scholarships.
Apart from providing high-quality engineering education, the placement and training office (PAT) polishes candidates’ personalities through soft skills courses and trains them for JEC placements. Students at the college have access to a variety of amenities. JEC facilities include a gym for fitness enthusiasts, boys' and girls' hostels, a spacious auditorium for conducting seminars and other events, Wi-Fi enabled campus for staff and students and students, a central library offering more than 3000 books, a canteen for snacks and meals, transportation facilities within the city and other amenities. The college offers scholarships to undergraduate and postgraduate students of Jyothi Engineering College.
