Jyothi Engineering College, established in 2002, was founded by the Catholic Archdiocese of Trichur and is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram. The college imparts technical education and offers engineering courses like B.Tech, M.Tech and Ph.D. The disciplines of JEC courses are provided in Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Power Electronics, Transportation Engineering, Robotics and Automation and more.
