JEC Thrissur imparts technical education to its students and offers degrees in engineering at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. A total of 18 courses are provided by the Jyothi Engineering College Thrissur and the courses are AICTE-approved. JEC UG course consists of 9 B.Tech courses while the JEC PG course contains 5 M.Tech courses. The specialisation of B.Tech and M.Tech courses are in Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Power Electronics, Transportation Engineering, Robotics and Automation and more. JEC Thrissur Courses and Fees
The duration of the JEC B.Tech course is 4 years whereas the M.Tech course lasts 2 years. The duration of the JEC Ph.D course is generally 6 years but can be extended in some cases.
JEC Thrissur Course Fees and Eligibility Criteria

Rs 1.72 lakhs | Qualified in 10+2 with at least 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/equivalent subjects. + Qualified Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination (KEAM). | |
Rs 2.48 lakhs | Qualified with 60% aggregate marks in the Engineering degree examination (54% for OBC). For SC/ST, a pass in the Engineering degree is adequate. A minimum of 55% marks for Section B in the AMIE/AMIETE examination and a valid GATE score. | |
Ph.D | – | Passed master’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture or minimum CGPA of 6.5 in master’s degree by research in Engineering/Technology (master’s programme based on valid GATE score). Or Candidates should have a minimum CGPA of 6.5 in a master’s degree in Basic Sciences/Mathematics + Qualified UGC-CSIR NET |
Jyothi Engineering College (JEC) also provides Ph.D courses both full-time and part-time under the esteemed APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala.
