The College students' hostel is located near the college and has nine blocks with a capacity to accommodate 750 students. It has separate hostels and messes for boys. Facilities like a modernized kitchen, a reading room, an indoor stadium, a solar water heater, and RO water are provided for the inmates.

The College Library, one of the biggest of its kind in the country, caters to the knowledge building of the students, research scholars, faculty, and scientists with a rich information resource base of about 40,000 books, 500 e-books, 100 foreign journals, 65 national journals, 25,000 back volumes, and 5 online databases. It also has access to about 2,800 online journals through the 'Consortium for e-Resources in Agriculture' (CeRA). Institutional membership facility (MALIBNET) helps the users to share the resources of about 20 important libraries in Chennai city.

The college's Computer has a network through LAN, and is also linked by WAN. A leased line Internet connectivity (1 Gbps) meets the Internet and Emailing needs of the faculty members and students. The students avail themselves of Internet browsing services free of cost in the elegantly designed Internet Kiosks.
