I joined this college in 2023. It was a good experience. The old block of this college is very eco-friendly and beautiful. My department was also student friendly Faculties are very educated and well trained. This college also contains many other extra curricular activities.
Academically also the college is very ahead. Our many students secures many ranks in university in each year. I also god appreciation for my overall performance in the last year and an alumini scholarship in second year it had inspired me.
There are placement cell in college and it conducts classes on carrier guidance and all but I don't think it not influencing the students much. These classes are many taken by institutions which desire to make students join in their course.
As it is a aided college and I was also selected in merit i only had paid a small amount. But exams fee, semester fee and fine system is something I don't agree with
As I was in NCC my campus life was mostly around my co cadets. But there also few good programs conducted but not as expected.
My college has library, seminar hall, well equipped classrooms, girls room, a wide ground, volleyball court, canteen, etc. But college lack girls hostel. And about library it isn't sufficient with enough books nor reading area. Living spaces are actually clean and hygienic food also.
Iam studying BSc Chemistry. Mainly beacuse i find chemistry more interesting than any other science subjects. About the quality of teaching, i would say its outstanding. Most of the teachers hold a doctorate. The curriculum is somewhat updated but can do better. And this isn't job ready. Need masters and experience for that
Our department has a quiet good placements. But most students went for higher studies instead of jobs.80% of students are placed in any of the fields.Highest salary package was for science students.Especially chemistry and physics. And college is supportive in such things
I didn't have to pay as i had e-grantz scholarship.. Still for other students it cost below a lakh and yes its worth it.
The campus gives a warmth of nature feel.. The old block is vintage and very close to the nature. All staffs are friendly. And as its located in town and hospitals are easily accessible, it can handle emergency very quickly.
Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. It may vary depends on particular departments as some are stricter.
