The M.Tech degree program is offered after 10+2 and is for a duration of five years consisting of 10 semesters and 48 courses. The specialization courses in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, and Biomedical engineering are offered as electives in semester VIth. The pedagogy method of teaching is mainly project-based learning (PBL) hence students are encouraged to develop a hands-on approach by participating extensively in developing new tools, kits, algorithms etc. The last two semesters involve a one-year external project to be carried out at a national research laboratory or an industry or at the institute itself. At the end of the project, the students will have to submit a project report and make a presentation before subject experts.

Eligibility Criteria

The Integrated MTech degree program is offered after 10+2 and is for a duration of five years consisting of 10 semesters and 48 courses.
Admission will be on merit, based on CET/NEET/JEE Main scores basis wherein preference will be given to students Biology or Maths with Chemistry and Physics as core major subjects.
Students outside Maharashtra will be considered based on score in JEE conducted by Central Board or NEET or state CET scores.
Students without either Maths/Biology at the 10+2 level will be encouraged to undertake a remedial course (3 credits) for the same during the first semester of the B Tech degree program.
Candidate should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject AND Secured minimum 50 % marks in the subjects.

Admission Details

CET is compulsory for within MH students. JEE is compulsory for outside MH students.
Student need to download the application form from university website, filled it and send it with required application fee (by demand draft only) to the university.
University will publish the list of selected candidates on the website as well as communicate to the selected students via email & post.

College Infrastructure

The campus is quite spacious .There are many departments and each has its own building. In campus hostels are well maintained and nice though the condition isn't the same for the outside ones.Infrastructure is one of the plus points of this university.
