24 MonthsMaster of Science (M.Sc) in Medical-Surgical Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the postgraduate level in the nursing course offered by Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should be Registered with the State Nursing Council.
2. The minimum education requirement shall be the passing of a B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
3. The candidate should have undergone a B.Sc. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing in an institution that is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
4. Minimum one year of work experience in a teaching hospital in a college or in a school of nursing after a Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
5. Minimum one year of work experience prior to or after Post Basic B.Sc.Nursing (i.e... One year after the Tamil Nadu Nurses & Midwives Council registration date)
6. The candidate shall be medically fit.
7. In the case of male candidates they should have passed any other course recommended by the Indian Nursing Council in place of Midwifery.
