NISER is a National Institute of Science Education and Reserach. It offers Integrated courses. NEST is the entrance examination for admission to NISER. To be eligible for NEST, you should have completed your 10+2 from any recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 60%. It is 60% in General Category and 55% for Reserved Categories. And you should have studied your 12th in regular science stream with a combination of any 3 subjects among Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. So even if you do not have Mathematics in your 12th, even if you have Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you are good to go.
Pranav, you need to have at least 60% aggregate in your 12th boards from Science stream. SC/ PWD candidates get a relaxation of upto 55% aggregate marks.

NISER is an autonomous institute which provides various courses such as bsc+msc, msc+ PhD , PhD in various fields such as mathematics, biological, earth sciences, computer science etc., This is a research focussed institute. There are various job options available for NISER passouts.
1. If you have a good CGPA such as 7.5 and above in physics, chemistry, biology you can get a direct entry in BARC interview.
2. PhDs- if you are interested in research work then after integrated MSc you can do PhD on a subject of your choice. For this you must get good rank in PhD exams in India such as NET. Your rank will decide whether you get the subject of your choice or not. For PhD abroad, you have to clear certain language test and subject test as well. Most students go for PhD after NISER.
3. You can apply to patent offices and journal publishers.
4. Some students also go for IAS.
5. You can also become an entrepreneur.
The options are challenging but you need to take challenges in life to succeed.

Now come to IISER, YOU CAN GO FOR BS-MS dual degree course in different iiser through KVPY exam, or jee main advance or
Scb (only top 1%of board students are allowed) - 50%of the seats at iiser are alloted through the IAT exam they conduct.

you can join iiser through jee main advance score or through kvpy exam scheme or SCB (Aptitude Test) Channel . there is bs -ms dual degree courses available after 10+2 passed students. after the passing of bs-ms you can opted for phd, most of the students do phd course and work as a scientist in research and development center in reputed organization. see getting admission in iiser is enough to start a journey for a wonderful career.

NISER was established in 2007. To get admission here, you have to crack NEST exam. It is overall a good institute for faculties, placements, infrastructure and others. It is improving though in placement and other terms. It depends on your Major subject. You can join for PhD, work in a reputed laboratory like BARC. Its good that you can do specialization in order to achieve a good career. You can also find career in bioinformatics field, pharmacy, genetics, agriculture, microbiology etc.

National institute of science education and research which is situated in Bhubaneswar provides the degree of Homi bhabha National institute Our institute is famous for its high-level academic studies and laboratory for various experiments. There are well-maintained academic buildings, hostels, staff residents, a health center, a shopping complex, and canteens. Free Wi fi in all over the campus
The college has most of basic features as it is a national level institute. So facilities like bigger grounds for sports, clean classrooms & hostels inside the campus, library etc were present. So overall very good experience in terms of having good infrastructure.
The infrastructure in NISER is very modern and labs are pretty hi-tech and there are lot of facilities within campus like Shopping Complex, Medical Center, Indoor Sports Arena, Saloon, etc. In a whole you will get every day-to-day necessities within the campus which very few science colleges in our country have. Also the hostel infrastructure is also very good with high speed LAN connection and Outdoor Wi-Fi with good download and upload speed. In a whole, it's perfect.
