Netaji Mahavidyalaya, Arambagh Course Admission 2024 - Fees, Date, Cutoff & Eligibility

The Netaji Mahavidyalaya in Arambagh offers various courses for admission including Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Commerce, and Master of Arts. The college has 21 departments under Science, Arts, and Commerce faculties that offer Honours and General courses for study. Some departments only offer Honours or General courses, and there is also one Post Graduate course available in Bengali. 

Under the Science faculty, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology, Botany, Geography, Computer Science, Environmental Science, and Economics are offered for both Honours and General courses. Plant Protection and Electronics are only offered for General courses. The Arts faculty provides Bengali, English, Sanskrit, Education, Geography, Philosophy, Economics, History, Political Science, Santhali Physical Education, and Mathematics for Honours/General courses. The Commerce faculty offers Accountancy (Hons) and relevant subjects in the General Course. 

Netaji Mahavidyalaya, Arambagh also offers Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor's in Computer Application (BCA) programs, and a postgraduate course in Bengali. The college has introduced new subjects to meet the challenges of education such as Honours courses in Environmental Science and Computer Science, MA in Bengali, Honours Course in Education, General course in Santhali, and Physical Education General. These subjects cater to the growing needs of the locality to ensure job opportunities. 

The college offers Honours and General courses in B.Sc., B.A., and B.Com. with various subject combinations for students to choose from.

Netaji Mahavidyalaya Arambagh UG Admission 2024

• Students must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (HSC) with at least 50% marks in Science, Commerce or Humanities stream.
• Students should be between 17 to 21 years of age.
• If the student belongs to a reserved category, he/she has to submit a cast certificate.
• If the student is economically backward, he has to submit an Economic Needs Certificate.

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
• Some courses require passing an entrance test.

• Filled application forms should be submitted to the college office by the due date.
