Nishitha Commerce and Science College, Nizamabad Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The Library is well-stocked and fully computerized. It has around 2126 books covering almost all aspects of Science, Commerce & Management. It regularly subscribes to about 3 Periodicals including 4 daily newspapers in Telugu and English. Internet and OPAC facility is also available. The Library has a “Book Bank” consisting of core texts books, which are issued to deserving students for the whole academic year. There is also a collection of audio-visual materials like maps, atlases, compact discs, and audio cassettes. The library has comfortable Reading Rooms spread over 600 Sq. Fits with a seating capacity of 100. It extends its current awareness services by providing newspapers/ magazines in the Staff Room and the Students’ Common Room. The library remains open from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on all working days. It remains closed on Sundays and other gazetted holidays.

There is one lab in the college with 40 terminals and Internet facilities for the students and teachers. These labs are also equipped with teaching aids such as LCD Projectors and Scanners. The College wants all its students to be conversant with modern learning aids. The entire college campus is Wi-Fi enabled.

Physics Laboratory is spacious, well equipped with the latest apparatus and sophisticated equipment. We also maintain well-equipped laboratories and Labs are updated with sophisticated instruments every year. The departments are potential centers for research work.

The College has evolved an effective method of teaching in high-tech classrooms which are highly ventilated and have good seating and lighting. Smart boards, LCDs, and Projectors are used as teaching aids.

The College also has enough parking spaces allotted to an increasing number of students who come by personal vehicles. There are separate parking spaces allotted for staff and students.

“A sound mind exists in a sound body”. Sports are a vital activity required to enhance the overall growth of students. The college witnessed a spectacular achievement in the field of sports. It is well equipped with sufficient indoor hall and outdoor facilities – Chess, Carrom, Cricket, Basket Ball, Kho-Kho, Kabbadi, Volley Ball, Shuttle Badminton, Tenni-Koit, long jump, high jump, and Athletics.

The College has a provision for a Doctor on Campus to attend to staff and students.
