The college has Instead, we have an agreement with the Local Health Centre at Central Bus-stand under NUHM (National Urban Health Mission) to provide necessary treatment support to our students and staff of the institute on a priority basis, vide Memo no PKC/78/H.O./2021, dtd. 26.10.2021.

The college has an Auditorium facility. (Two air-conditioned) with a seating capacity of about 200, each has been developed on the campus. All the halls are intended to be used for conducting seminars, conferences, cultural programs, student events, and other significant events of the college.

The college has a modus operandi and is regularly monitored by the Advisory Committee of the Central Library of the college, which comprises the Principal as the Chairperson, the Librarian as the Convener, some teachers, and Student representatives. The Committee recommends books, which are needed by the students and also suggested by the teachers considering the up-to-date development of the subject concerned. It also monitors the purchase of the latest edition of books, distribution of funds, selection of journals; maintenance of old books and journals, etc. The Librarian takes care of the preservation and accession of books. Students and staff avail themselves of the benefits of free internet access, computerized browsing, and lending facility Complete Accession Numbering system; Cataloguing and classification of all books are done with the user-friendly multi-digit Alphanumeric Decimal based numbering system in accordance with the Dewey Decimal Classification system. There is a separate journal section within the reading room.  

The college has a sports facility for all the students. It is said that winners never quit and quitters never win. In fact, sports and games of late have become extremely competitive in nature. Like cultural activities, sports and games play an integral role in a student's educational life. It does not only render them competitive in mind but helps them develop self-esteem, mental alertness, and camaraderie in themselves as well. The college uses to conduct a variety of tournaments throughout the year, and egg on the students to energetically participate in them. The college also motivates the students to participate in inter-college competitions, organized by the concerned affiliating university. Needless to say, emphasis on games and sports has earned us a lot of medals and trophies.

The college has a computer lab facility. Two separate computer laboratories have mater in the college—one in the main building for the Under-Graduate Students, and the other in the Post-Graduate Building for the Post-Graduate Students. Above mentioned Computer Labs with 40 nodes abundantly help the students with web browsing and accessing online resources for learning.

The college has a canteen facility for all the staff and students.

 The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a gymnasium with modern fitness equipment that has been developed on the ground floor of the N. C. Roy Building with financial assistance under the RUSA scheme. It comprises such fitness tools as motorized and manual treadmills, abdominal exercisers, abdominal machines, twister exercisers, AB Crunch machines, Health care equipment, fitness bikes, cross trainers, leg press machines, upright bikes, Health scales, bicep curls, etc. teachers as well as the students of the college are allowed to avail the facilities of the gym. The teachers of the Physical Education Department act as the trainer/s of the gym. 

The college has importance of nanoscience in the 21^st century can hardly be minimized. It has represented a paradigm shift in scientific research in creating a wealth of new materials and manufacturing possibilities. Of late, with the financial assistance of RUSA, a   Central Nanoscience Laboratory has been developed in the main science building of the college to motivate the teachers and students with better opportunities that can help them fabricate materials literally molecule-by-molecule. Needless to say, qualified teachers of different science departments have kept themselves actively engaged in the manufacture of numerous products that we use in our everyday life. They have also been motivating the students of the respective departments to involve themselves in scientific research provided in the Nanoscience Laboratory.

Roy Building, the second in the main building, and the third in the Vivekananda Bhaban (P. G. Building). All three halls have been aesthetically designed and equipped with modern audio-visual aids.  Three separate seminars or conferences or lectures or workshops can be organized in those halls in tandem. 

The College has truly, the introduction of ICT revolutionized the art of teaching and learning.  Every UG department of the college and all the classrooms of the PG departments have been equipped with ICT which has rendered the TL method more interesting and interactive. Evidently, ICT has not replaced the great teachers but they have sublimated and transformed the TL method with the help of ICT-enabled classrooms. Of late, a Virtual Classroom has been developed with the financial assistance of the Higher Education Department of the State.

The college has a workshop facility for the students.
