Prafulla Chandra College, Kolkata Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

Good infrastructure - the college is very old and thus the effect can be seen. But it's manageable and in good working condition. The library is good. Classrooms are not very big but there are a lot of students in each batch.

Teachers are very knowledgeable and talented. All are lectures in main campus university but very grounded and approachable. There way of explaining things is really good and very helpful. Overall it's a good experience.

Not so good as the college is govt college. No such fancy big campus drives or companies coming to recruit students from there. The main campus still have more options but other affiliated colleges are not that fortunate.

My college has a larger auditorium room where professor's of our college do events and presentation which we enjoy . Library where we study peacefully . Canteen where food is quite disappointing hygienic but tasteless but college is good . Most Enjoyment place is our ground area where we play lots of games and also events of sports. All of these our college is very clean and washrooms too.

Professor's of our college teach really well. While explaining the topics also gives related or real life examples to know about the topics easily with real life experienced. They are frank with students and help them with their subjects.

My college doesn't give opportunities to get placement but improve our skills by give assignments of particular subject topics and through internships too. I would say in future may my college will provide this opportunity too.

Yes. It's value for money a student required needs they provide so I would say it is.

My college life is fun and interesting made new friends and by participating to events that's fun.

I have good experience with this college. As the teacher's and principles are very helpful and it gives good vibe . Once I was late in submitting a project which was assigned by university but then we went to talk to teachers and then helped us by giving some extra time to submit it

As per the academic it offers good education. And also help their students every way possible As teachers are really helpful. It helps students ny providing books from library and question papers of the pprevipus examination to help their students

This college is managed amd maintanined by brahmo samaj which was being found by vivkekanda ji with cooperation with government So it doesn't help in placement at all no companies comes to college campus

Our College has decent infrastructure with clean classrooms, a decent library, computer labs, and a good Wi-Fi. The campus is well maintained, though some facilities could be upgraded for a better student experience, but it is a good college. For undergraduate college

Our College academics are well and good organized, and most teachers are supportive and knowledgeable . The college builds a good structure, though more practical learnings and industry-oriented work would be helpful if it is done in the college.

Placement opportunities of this College are not good , especially for undergraduate students. While a few companies visit the campus, students often need to rely on higher studies or off-campus, need more companies in college.

Yes

Good

Good college

The class rooms are great and the ambience is good for studying. Plenty of space in the class so that the students feel ease and the benches, chair, table, black board in the class is well maintained.

The faculty is excellent, the classes are on time and the teachers are very friendly and help a lot during exam preparations. They help with hand written notes as well before internals and semesters.

There are few internship opportunities for the students and the college insist to take them. Plenty of students have landed in a job such as in article writing, accounting, mass communication and others.

Vibrant campus.

The college infrastructure is good with canteen, ground for playing and for indoor activities carrom and chess etc the library is decorated with books and good interior design providing a good environment for readers.

Coming to academic the professors are well experienced and a good teachers providing quality education and not only education we are also thought other skills like communication etc there very helpful in nature.

Coming to the placements the placement issue is very low out of 100 people only 20 gets placed for the companies do not like to come to this college so they have to improve in this area . The highest salary goes 4 lakh per annum

Worth spending money for this type of quality education and good helpful teachers and values

Campus life is totally fun we are surrounded with good people supportive staffs and other students who help us in problems and other than that the ground playing grounds extra curricular activities make us happy

Already mentioned

Infrastructure is good with canteen playing ground and special arrangement for students to play indor activities for an example carrom etc it also have smart classrooms with good teachers canteens but they have to improve especially renovate the building decorate the ground and make it more spacious

Faculty are very supportive keen to teach and supportive especially during the examinations when it comes they helps us a lot . More attention is given to the ones who are weak in studies and uplift them exhort them to do well in the examinations or in the futures they help not only in education but also in building values and skills like communication

All the companies comes for jobs yet the ratio is very low 50 out of 500 students get job so they have to improve so that students with deeply rooted academic and other values can implemented in their profession and to contribute to this country

Especially for the people belong to middle class families can afford studying here and worth spending money because at low price this organisation provides good education and knowledge.

Campus life is totally fun with cooperative teachers staffs students many extra curricular activities for fun example Kabaddi competition carrom competition football competition fashion show and et cetera

Already mentioned all the points

College has all facilities including a vast Library and a computer lab. It's spacious and also has a ground where various activities including sports are carried out. A very fast wifi in computer lab and fully air conditioned.

Currently,I am pursuing for B.com (Hons),because it's in my field of interest The quality of teaching is outstanding here, very much friendly and helpful Yes,the curriculum is much updated and all the recent developments are available there. Some more updates will be required to make me job-ready

The atmosphere of the college is extremely cherishful with supportive teachers and administrative staff. The teachers are very helpful and clears any doubts arising during our studies. But one sad and disapointing thing about our college is that it has no placement cell and does help with providing any assistance relating to placements.

It's cost 6k approx Yes it's worth for working students

It's really avg The staffs are really good and supportive Location is good and at a very prime location It can handle all emergencies

No all the above details I have given is good enough

the infrastuctre isnt very spacious, basic facilities are available but theres no wifi, smartboard or digital upgrades. the food wich college canteen provides are decent and had no such hygene issues.

i was pusuing bcom(hons.) from there and the quality was average the curriculum provided from the university was upto the mark and was informative and will make a student job ready in this field if he is able to capture it

there is no such support of placements from this college.the students are on their own after they pass out from the college.....................................................................................

the college is partly government run and partly privete so the fees for it is really affordable . the money spent was also worth it as it as the university holds va very good value in india. finding a job later wont be a hassle later.

the college is located in a very good location where every amenities are available nearby it is very safe for everyone out their and can easily handle emergencies......................................

The Prafulla Chandra College is very old and prestigious college in the state. In our times the infrastructure facilities were quite good most of the required facilities were available in the college for the students.

As I have completed my Bachelor's in English Honours from this college,I can say that the college is quite good in academics. The quality of teaching is satisfactory in the college and the curriculum is well maintained.

Our college Prafulla Chandra College is well known for its placement record. The college provides a good number of employment opportunities these days to the students. As I ve completed my English Hons from this college I have not taken placement from the college because I want to go for higher studies.

A good college.
