The college has a great infrastructure and has all the required facilities to get upskilled and upgrade. It has a great Library and indoor stadium and also a fantastic ground for the upskilling of the students
I'm studying B.com for a U.G degree to pursue M.B.A..The quality of teaching is good. The teachers are vastly experienced and have great skills in teaching ..The course which I study makes me job ready.
The quality of placements has been great and everyone opting for placements get jobs in minimum guarantee..The companies which offers are world class and are a class aparat.the average salary is satisfactory
The college infrastructure is really good. They have well maintained washrooms. The library is well established and has lot of reading materials. The sports activities are also very popular. Food in canteen is also decent.
Psg is known for its world class education and academic curriculum. They have well educated and experienced staff. They even provide outstanding placement along with academic opportunities for students and freshers in the end of the course.
The quality is extremely good and organsied. The placement committee makes sure that everyone in the placement gets equal opportunity and concentrates on unique training materials to get the students placement ready.
Year on year, college spends on infrastructure. When I was studying the new commerce block was constructed and completely operational. The area is really large and there is a seperate room for everything.
There teachers have relevant backgrounds. Though their teachings are theoretical, the teachings are sufficient to get you to your next level either placements or higher studies. There will be a project and internship in the last year.
The placements are really good for UG programs compared to other colleges. They ask for the interest in placement, and those students who opt for placement other than higher studies or competitive exams.
The college is very clean and well maintained. It has a really big library compared to other colleges. The hostels, classes, amphi, learning resource centres, sports area are well equipped. Food in the canteen is also really good.
I studied Bsc specializing in Psychology. Our curriculum is very well updated and our teachers and professors are very professional and supportive. They will literally teach us how much ever they can even if we don't understand.
The placement quality in PSGCAS is very good and progressive every year. As far as now, The lowest package offered 4-5 LPA and the highest is 8-9 LPA also somewhat around 10.5 LPA. Process is also easy and manageable.
PSG College of Arts and Science has really attractive and advanced infrastructure. There are many facilities that are very well equipped and helpful for students. Yes, it is well maintained as well...
I studied BBA specializing under Information Systems Self Finance which was one of the best choices i made because this was a subject i was really interested and also i gained great knowledge all because of our faculty.
Yes, the quality of placements are very good. The highest package offered as far as know is 11.5LPA and the lowest is 6LPA. I did not sit for placements I proceeded with my Masters in Psg Institute of Management.
PSG is obviously a big brand and one of the prestigious institutions. The infrastructure is excellent here..Gym, amphi, learning resource centres, wifi facilities and many more which are helpful for students.
I studied Bsc specializing in microbiology which is a subject I chose randomly but I did turn it to be a good choice. Faculty here some are friendly some are not so it depends on their teaching and your luck too haha!
Placements here are fairly good. Companies like biocon, Concord biotech, cipla pharmaceutical, aurobindo pharma were some of the good ones during placements. So placement wise it has been progressive.
The value for money paid here is worth it. The fees might comparatively a little high but it will be definitely worth it. I can assure you guys that. The fees might comparatively be a little high but it's definitely worth it.
The college is very neat and well maintained. Psg obviously is a big brand and one of the prestigious institutions. The infrastructure is all good there is gym, amphi, learning resource centres, wifi facilities and many more which are helpful for students.
I studied Bcom specializing in Professional Accounting so its a pretty deep subject which i was interested in so i chose it. Academics was good and the faculty, some are friendly some are not so that way it depends on their teaching as well.
The quality of placements are fairly good. Out of 190 students, 160 were placed in really good companies which a package of 9 -10 LPA and the others had a package of around 5-6 LPA. So placement wise i think it has been really progressive this year.
Yes the value for the money paid here is worth it. I can assure you guys that. The fees might feel comparatively a little high but it will be definitely worth the money and also there should be enough effort from your side as well.
Campus life has been moderately good. There are a lot of events that you can organise as well as participate. Some of them are really vibrant and lively event which you can enjoy to the core while some are not to the expectations.
Psg college of arts and science is one of the prestigious institutions in TamilNadu. I graduated in the year 1991 so during that time we cannot expect a very good infrastructure like now but at that time it was considered something big and students studying there come from good families.
Academics part are also very very manageable and because i love english i was very keen in learning and adapting in the course..I love Shakespeare's stories so that made my degree very interesting as well.
Placements were comparatively low at that time also i did not sit for placements..I had a quick plan to start a business of my own so i proceeded with that. My children in Psg school, then Psgcas and now mba in Psg institute of management.
It was definitely worth the money. There is no doubt on that even now. Anyone planning to study there can definitely keep this as one of your options to try for. Fees maybe a little high but don't worry.
Campus life is very good now. Youngsters have so much fun that when i was in college because back those days there were no events, programmes and all much but now all this is like the heart and soul of the institution.
All necessary infrastructure are available with hostels. Good laboratories with libraries and sport centres. We are not allowed to have wifi for our use. No smart boards too in the college. But living spaces are well manitained.
Curriculum is updated and the syllabus is job ready with good content. Quality of teaching is good and it is very informative. I did both my UG and Master's in the same college. The teaching curriculum includes all recent developments.
Placements are good but my core was not provided. Good number of placements are provided for students. I have no idea about the average salary. Process was easy and pleasant. Most of them are non core.
Yah it's a good college with a reputation. My course was from aided and SF. It differs from course to course. It is money worth. It hopefully doesn't ask for more money without valid reason. My course was payable for a year.
Good campus facility with a reachable location. All are supportive and it is safe to handle all kinds of emergencies. Had a good experience in the College. Students can engage in all kinds of extra curricular and co curricular activities.
Had a good time learning in this college. It was worth of 5 Years in the College. I would like to recommend the College for others also. When leaving the campus a person can be full equipped with all knowledge needed.
the college has got a good infrastructure for the new commerce block but when it comes to other departments its taking a toll. the other blocks in the college can surely be refurnished and also the management is now building new blocks and other stuffs.
To talk with the academics and the quality of teaching all the staffs including the HOD are the alumini of the college and talking about their teaching quality it is not matching with the brand which this college has created. curriculum is being updated recently now but easily the teaching quality can be improved
The quality and the company which is are here for placements are really good. Great investment banks like D E shaw and Goldman sachs is here for placements and apart for that almost all the major companies are here. the highest salary package was around 14.5 lacks for those who got placed in D E Shaw and average salary is around 2 to 3 lacks and college indeed had helped many students with their placements.
Per year this course is costing around 195000 and to be frank i would say this is not worth the money cause the exposure and the teaching are not upto the mark for the cost which is being paid for the course
the college campus has got various clubs and forums and also the faculty who are in charge of these clubs are in great support to the students. Also right from quizzes to psychological help it has got a variety of clubs. the location of the college is also good as the public transport is easily available.
The college has got a good brand and in the present the quality which the college had during the 80's is not the same now. still the college is helping the students to give quality education and good placements. overall review would be a good college.

Hello Sujin
A public university, PSG College of Arts and Science, is located in Coimbatore. It has a canteen, labs, a dorm, a health centre, etc.
The cost of the hostel, which includes meals, WiFi, and laundry facilities, is INR 1 lakh per year. The hostel outside is fairly nice and has all the amenities. Each person's meal costs INR 50, and it is possible to have well-balanced meals. With all the amenities, the classroom is of good quality.
Thanks
