B. Tech in Information Technology Programme, the students learn to program in higher-level languages and create applications based on Cloud, Information and Data. Students learn to use the Software Engineering processes to specify, design, develop, test and deploy software applications for solving problems. Students are groomed to work effectively in teams and to communicate effectively with a client. The course also prepares students to acquire new computer-related skills independently as technologies evolve, communicate technical concepts effectively and conduct themselves in an ethical and professional manner.
Students who wish to continue studies after completion of their B. Tech in IT degree can pursue M. Tech Degree in Information Technology.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together.
OR
The candidate should have passed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
Lateral entry
Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories, and Persons with Disability) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent;
OR
Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories, and Persons with Disability) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject. Provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second year subjects.
OR
Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is top notch. Maybe the best in Navi Mumbai. It has all the must have facilities. the labs are big, the auditorium are big even the clasrooms are big and have good ventilation.the canteen is good too.

College Infrastructure
RAIT is situated within the big campus of D.Y Patil University of nerul which is green and clean. The campus has pleasant atmosphere. There are multiple tech committes that one can join to gain knowledge about particular field.
RAIT is the best.

College Infrastructure
The college campus is huge with very good facilities. The DY Patil Stadium and girl's hostel is in the campus itself. The laboratories are well equipped, the canteens are very hygienic and serves healthy and tasty food. Classrooms are very good and have good ventilation and ACs.
