College life in symbiosis is generally amazing, but over...
College Infrastructure
The campus offers solid infrastructures with clean classroom, the classes are cleaned every day and supporting staff are extremely supportive. College helpline is always available and responses come quickly. There are a plethora of sports available, with dedicated grounds for each and every one of them. College also offers free healthcare and fitness services including gym and courses like fitness for life.

Overall average to good.
College Infrastructure
It's one of the oldest colleges in West Bengal. It have old buildings as well as New Buildings. Hopefully the infrastructure will improve with proper funding. Labs are outdated. There are funding shortage as well as good will. So yes infrastructure is poor to average I would say.
Academics
Academics are actually good. Professors are well knowledgeable. They will guide you. Labs are outdated as most of the Engineering colleges in India. If you are targeting higher studies or Govt exam, you can join this college for sure in Core Departments. Otherwise for CSE, IT it's all about skills you know!
Placements
Placements vary every year. Like upto 2022 was golden period for KGEC (I would say). After that students have to struggle for placements. For core departments, there are companies but pakage is too low. So yes there are various issues regarding placements.
Campus Life
Overall good. You will enjoy it. There are various clubs also, you can participate.
Anything Else
If your rank is low & you are not getting any prefered branch in colleges like JU, JGEC... Then you must choose KGEC. As of lastest placement records (wb state colleges only) JU>JGEC>CU=KGEC>CGEC & other colleges.

College Infrastructure
Civil Engineering Department is good. Civil labs are useful for practical learning, and teachers explain concepts clearly. Students get help during projects and exams. However, some lab equipment feels outdated, and students need to do self-study to understand tough subjects.
Academics
Academics are okay. Teachers explain subjects well and help students when needed. The syllabus is finished on time, and labs and projects help in learning. But some subjects are difficult and need a lot of self-study. Not all teachers teach the same way, and lab equipment is a bit old. Overall, it’s good.
Placements
Placements for Civil Engineering are better compared to some other branches. Core civil companies do visit the campus, and students can get placed in construction, infrastructure, and site-related roles. Students with good practical knowledge and internships have better chances.
Campus Life
Campus life is calm and comfortable. group work, lab sessions, and site-related discussions help build bonding. College fests, technical events, and some civil-related activities happen. On the downside, civil students often have busy schedules with labs and submissions, so free time is limited.

Placements
There are placement opportunities available. I got a job in TCS through college placement. The team behind the placements pits lot of efforts for students like aptitude test training and all. But in our final year the placement opportunities were less compared to other years.

Academics
Teachers are supportive and explain topics clearly, especially for students who attend classes regularly. All the exams and internal assessments are conducted properly. College curriculum is well planned and revised on regular basis.
Placements
Placements are very limited. The college does not have strong campus placement drives. Most students either go for higher studies, government exam preparation, or find jobs on their own. It is more suitable for academic learning than job.

Campus Life
Campus life is good and balanced. The campus is clean and has enough space to chill with friends. There are regular events, fests, and activities so it doesn’t feel boring. Sports facilities are decent, not top level but usable. Canteen food is okay and affordable. Overall, campus life is good
