The infrastructure at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) in Varanasi includes modern ICT-enabled classrooms with projectors, Wi-Fi, smart boards, well-equipped computer labs with design software for relevant courses, and CCTV for security, supporting a robust learning environment with digital access and facilities for students and staff, while local area development for the broader Vidyapeeth Block involves drainage, roads, and utilities.
Academics for the Bachelor of Arts (BA) at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) (formerly Kashi Vidyapeeth) in Varanasi involve a 3-year course, merit-based admission after Class 12, and cover various subjects, focusing on holistic development with a blend of traditional values and modern learning, with exams managed online via their portals and opportunities to generate academic credits on NAD. BA program with core subjects like Hindi, English, History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, and Sanskrit, plus optional subjects in Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences, and sometimes Commerce/Vocational streams, allowing students to combine subjects like Journalism, Psychology, Geography, Philosophy, or even basic Computer Applications, depending on the chosen combination. To get the exact list for your desired stream (Arts/Science/Commerce) and year, checking the official university website or prospectus is best, as syllabi and subjects get updated.
The statement that Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) offers no placements for BA students is not entirely accurate. While the placement scenario for arts and general undergraduate (UG 3-year) courses is often considered modest compared to professional degrees like BBA, BCA, or MBA, the university does facilitate some placements for BA students. MGKVP) has an "average" placement record, with median packages around 2.40 LPA for 3-year UG courses and higher for PG/professional programs, though specific BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) rates vary by specialization; while specific "placement rate" percentages aren't clear, recruiters like HSBC, ICICI, Patanjali, TCS, and Wipro visit, with reported packages ranging from 3-4 LPA average to 7 LPA highest for BBA in recent years.
Kashi Vidyapeeth (MGKVP) campus life blends academic rigor with Varanasi's spiritual charm, offering students opportunities to explore historic temples (Kashi Vishwanath, BHU), forts (Ramnagar), malls, and engage in cultural activities, alongside research and language learning, with a focus on social responsibility and a diverse student body, all within a supportive environment of varied programs and affordable fees.

in srm university, the placement cell of the campus is active and provides good career opportunities for students, it organizes training sessions, workshops and mock interviews to improve students' technical skills, communication skills, confidence. many reputed companies visits in every year like amazon, flipkart patanjali etc. bajaj finance banking sectors ( axis bank, hdfc bank and many more private banks ) .
in my experience the campus life is vibrant and engaging, offering a healthy balance between academics and extracurricular activities. the campus organize cultural fests like (anubhuti), many events, club and sports activities that encourages students to participate in and other activities .
the college provides a good academic environment with decent infrastructure, supportive faculty, satisfactory placements and an enjoyable campus life. considering the facilities and opportunities offered, it delivers good value in students' growth .
Infrastructure is well maintained with excellent academic building, libraries, sports facilities and green spaces. There are multiple lecture halls with tiered seating for large lectures and seminars.
Faculty typically combine academic qualifications with industry exposure, focusing on practical business learning. Courses often include case studies, group work, seminars, and interactive sessions.
SRMU has a dedicated Placement Cell that works years round to prepare students with career workshops, soft skills training, interview practice. Its attracts a wide range of recruiters, including multi-industry firm and large brands such as- Accenture, Amazon, TCS, IBM, HCL and etc.
If you are into academics and enjoy being part of a close knit community, SRMU is a good fit. You'll have opportunities to engage in extracurriculars, take part in events, and from meaningful connections with classmates.
The infrastructure is overall very good, and the college provides modern smart boards in several classrooms, which enhances the learning experience. While the facilities are well-maintained and clean, I believe there is room for improvement, specifically regarding technology. It would be much better if the college provided reliable Wi-Fi access for students across the entire campus in the future to assist with research and project work.
I am a final-year BCA student. The teaching staff is highly qualified, with many professors holding PhDs and possessing deep subject knowledge. However, the number of faculty members is somewhat limited. The curriculum follows OU standards and is updated with trending tech stacks like AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science. While the syllabus is solid, being job-ready ultimately depends on the individual student's effort and dedication.
When it comes to campus placements, there are a good number of opportunities available, particularly for BBA and other management groups. However, for BCA students, the number of companies visiting and the total job offers are noticeably fewer in comparison. To improve this, the placement cell should focus on bringing in more technical and IT-oriented companies to ensure that computer application students have equal career prospects.
Campus life here is quite vibrant and engaging. We have various club activities organized every week, which gives every student a great platform to showcase their hidden talents and build confidence. The teachers are very encouraging and actively participate in these extracurricular events. The atmosphere is friendly and safe, ensuring that students have a balanced experience between their academic studies and social development.

Overall placements are average and students are encouraged to build skills for better opportunities.
Campus. Life is limited with few very few extra curricular activities or events. Student engagement outside academics is low making college life feel monotonous The campus is safe and discipline, but lacks vibrancy and opportunities for overall development.
Overall experience at the college is average. It is suitable for students who want a safe and discipline environment. But students needs to work on self development and skills outside college. Basic faculties like classroom libraries and computer labs are available. However, however, advanced faculties and modern equipments are limited. Hostels facilities are basic and safe rooms are clean food qualities average and can improve.

The college emphasizes interactive teaching methods. Teacher makes us study very well. They make us study very well makes us clear every concept. Concept taught by them is very clear and makes us study very well
Placements of the college are average. But the college life is worth it. Placement can varry from result to result of a student. But overall the the companies that recruit are good in the market. Also they make us learn new tricks for interviews
Campus life is amazing
The infrastructure is just as good as their teaching . No complaints about their infrastructure. Pleasant space for learning. They have one of the best infrastructure, I would say . They can't do it better .
Well experienced faculties . They make you involve in answering and listening. Most of the college faculties doesn't care about students and call it as "college way of teaching". But here , they care and make you comfortable with learning.
Since I am a first year student , i don'tmych about placements . But I've heard that many alumni are in abroad . And this college got an award as the college with best outgoing students . I've Also seen many alumni doing great in both their occupation and life .
I can't say much . They are discipline yet joyfull . If you're participating and utilising every single opportunity they give , then you'll be one of those who enjoy college life . Apart from the fun , you'll get a wonderful campus life if you've got good company.
I really love the college infrastructure and especially canteen it's like a cafe they maintain properly not only the canteen full college campus nothing disappointed me there in infrastructure and class room are so clean and so spacious and and there is a projector and smart boads and there is a mic also and if you spill some water and you informed there is a house keeper next minute and library is amazing and there is a E library also i will give solid 5 for infrastructure
I love the way the teachers teach us especially for anatomy 8 different doctors take class for us the quality of teaching is amazing and they teach only in english that's really helpful if we don't understand anything in english we ask once they will separate after the class finished i will give solid 5 star for academics
I don't know anything about placement but as per i know that lot of students placed at abroad and last year every single one is placed with good salary package we don't need to worry about placement .
It's a good prestigious college to study architecture, one of the best in UP i can say.My college has been more than just an institution; it has been a place where growth, learning, and lifelong memories were shaped. From the very first day, it provided an environment that encouraged curiosity, discipline, and confidence. The classrooms were not limited to textbooks alone—they were spaces where ideas were exchanged, perspectives were challenged, and ambitions took form.
Academically it is really good, very effectively managed by the faculty. What truly sets my college apart is its faculty. The teachers have been constant guides, always ready to support, motivate, and push students to discover their true potential. Beyond academics, the college gave equal importance to extracurricular activities, cultural events, and teamwork, helping us develop skills that extend far beyond our degrees.
There are no placements, but they train you enough to get you in a good firm. As I step into the next phase of life, I carry with me not just a qualification, but the confidence and values my college instilled. It will always remain a place I proudly call my foundation.
It's quite good, there is in house small canteen(doesn't run 24 hours) and hostel also. Being a architecture college solely, it has a creative environment throughout
The overall infrastructure of the institute is decent and well-maintained. The campus is green and peaceful, with plenty of open space. The labs are well-equipped, and there are separate labs for different courses. The college has an auditorium for seminars and guest lectures.
The faculty members are qualified, supportive, and approachable. The teaching quality is above average. Some teachers have great subject knowledge and practical experience. They offer guidance for academics as well as placements and career planning.
The average salary is between 4 and 5 LPA, which is good for a college at this level. Medium-sized and growing companies like Pyramid Consulting, TechNova Solutions, V-Soft Consulting, GreyMatter Analytics, MindCraft Services, and Accel Business Solutions frequently visit the campus.
The infrastructure of this college is quite good as it has facilities including library, various laboratories, and smart classrooms. Accessibility facilities like elevators and ramps makes it suitable for even physically challenged students.
Im studying occupational therapy. The teaching quality is excellent as each faculty is well-knowledgeable with many years of experience. They strictly follow the curriculum and keep updating their knowledge about the recent advances in rehab.
They provide opportunities to get placed in their institution itself. Apart from that they provide outstanding training on clinical experience for freshers through their internship programs. They provide guidance on what to do next after graduation.
The campus life is good as they have a vibrant ambiance, cool cafeteria, and hostels. Hostel students can indulge in various sports like volleyball and badminton after college. Staffs are very supportive and easily approachable at times of emergencies.
My college is very good at maintenance when it comes to infrastructure and the equipments. My college has like about 2 blocks and a tech park which has a very good infrastructure with AC. My classroom has a smart board with a pen and very large space for the desk to accommodate. The library in my college is very large and can accommodate upto 20 people or more. Each department has separate laboratories which is equipped with many instruments and machines. Especially my department has many machines and equipments. Sport centre has like 2-3 floors which is used for like dance in first floor and games in last floor. Hostels are very clean and hygienic and people love to be there.
I am studying Biotechnology as I was interested biology. I chose biotechnology as it has wide applications in areas such as vaccine development, industrial enzyme production, fermentation technology, bioinformatics, waste treatment and sustainable bioproducts. The field is continuously evolving and offers good scope for research, innovation and higher studies. Faculties explain concepts clearly with examples and practical relevance. We are given opportunities to perform laboratory experiments, mini-projects and seminars which improve our understanding. teachers help us during practicals, assignments and project work. Our curriculum is partially updated. It covers the fundamentals very well, such as microbiology, genetic engineering, industrial biotechnology, enzyme technology, fermentation technology etc. However, it can be improved by including more content on recent developments like Advanced bioinformatics tools, CRISPR gene editing, Synthetic biology, Bioprocess automation, Industrial scale-up techniques etc. Yes the things which I am studying helps me to get a job ready. They teach us More industry-oriented practical training, Exposure to real laboratory instruments, Internship and industrial visits, Skill-based modules like data analysis, documentation and GMP practices.
In my department, the placement quality has been encouraging. For biotechnology students, around 70–80% of the batch secured job offers through campus drives, and many others found opportunities through internships and off-campus opportunities. The highest package offered in my batch was about ₹ 12 lakh per annum for some big MNC companies and the average salary was approximately ₹1 lakh per annum. The placement process was well-structured and supported by our placement cell, who organized training sessions, mock interviews, and company interactions. Overall, I felt the process was pleasant and helped me sharpen my professional skills, and the college was generally supportive throughout.
Campus life in my college is generally pleasant and worth the experience, especially if you participate in activities, use the facilities, and engage with events. The environment is peaceful and suitable for focused study, though city access and some facilities might feel average to some. Location is slightly isolated from the city center. Cultural and technical events like Kalam, Velanthiruvizha, Onam, Annual Day, and Sports Day happen throughout the year. Students participate actively in clubs and competitions like Art club, dance club, singing clubs etc.
The mess and canteen provide satisfactory food options. Labs are in average condition and mainly used for basic computer applications. Medical facilities are available on campus, and the college regularly organizes intra- and inter-college sports events.
The curriculum covers management basics but is more focused on theory with limited practical exposure. Lab work and case studies are conducted, but mostly at a basic level. The teaching quality is good, and teachers are willing to address questions even outside of classroom hours.
Companies mainly offer entry-level roles, and the overall exposure is moderate. Most opportunities are in sales, marketing, operations, and customer support. The Highest package ranges from 3 to 4 LPA, although some top performers manage to secure slightly higher packages.
Nice infrastructure newly developed and good availability of basic resources Infrastructure of college is good and modern , As this is the only medical College of the city so everything is well maintained and clean. College provide facilities like labs , free wifi , big campus area , decent hostels , hygenic canteen and conference halls
Great teaching faculty. They are well experienced and most important good education environment . Teachers of our college are well trained in there fields and help students to be well prepared. They are knowledgeable and highly qualified. All the curriculum is updated and developed as per new education polices . As the college is newly opened so there is shortage of staff members but hireing procedure is ongoing.
Internship of 1 year is compulsory College provide internship in district hospitals , as it started in 2024 so placement procedure is not yet available but soon it will be . Around 90 percent of the students are interns in district hospital and rest are in rural hospitals.
Great life in campus nice environment out there
In KMCHCOT infrastructure will be good it will be only regarding studying and a simple minus and negative in that is you will be utilising only small ground if you want larger ground we have to move to ngp which will be quite tough to move each and everybody and well constructed break zone will be also available and that's quite peaceful
Academics is good they will be always focusing on the studies muchh than other outdoor activities even industrial visit is also based on the medical conference then 2days outing will be allowed in particular district.
Seriously I'm just an current BOT first year student at kmch in 2025 I don't know much regarding that.. when refering to seniors and their placement records most of the students studying in kmch has placed in abroad with well refined salary.
Campus Life is good with friends and fun..
