good infrastructure. our campus is spread across a large area with adequate facilities like department blocks, enough classrooms, well equipped labs and spacious playgrounds and auditorium. the food court serves good food. there are two libraries, one in common and one for each department. internet facility is available in the campus.

college academics is good. teachers are highly qualified and well experienced. proper notes are provided and exams are conducted on a regular basis. we also have lab sessions often. i am studying btech in cs. the syllabus is updated.
Placements
good placement opportunities. many seniors get placed every year. i am not aware of the exact count, but cs department gets placement opportunities from tcs, accenture, ibm, safran, cognizant and many other companies.

Placements here are really great, upto 65% of boys have got placements. The highest package offered is near 7Lakh and the lowest is somewhat 3or 4 L per annum. I don't remember the company names, but they are mostly from other places. Internship programme was available in our college, some students went directly to firms and some of them applied online

The infrastructure of our college is very good. It has a huge campus with great facilities. Due to the pandemic, lectures are conducted online, but they are as good as in the normal classroom. We are accessed to an online library where we can refer to as many books as we can.

Here we follow the trimester pattern, and in each trimester, we learn new technologies. Faculty members in our college are very good. They help out the students to understand the concepts. They also help the students to build good projects. The course curriculum is advanced, and it also meets the industry standards for the enhancement of learning.

In the current year, about 50% of the students get placed till now, but every year all the students get placed from each course. Many good companies visit our campus for placements. Placements are very good compared to other colleges. One can expect the job role of project trainee or software developer.

The infrastructure is very good and clear. The hostel is good with comfortable space for living along with attached washrooms and mess food facility. We have a sports ground, a gym and medical facilities as well. The classroom is modernized with projectors, etc. The Wi-Fi is present everywhere.

The exams are not that hard to pass, and the curriculum is updated with a mixture of theoretical training along with projects where [practical exposure and experience is given to make students industry and job-ready. The faculty members are well experienced and knowledgeable.

Almost all the students get placed, with around night five and above being the placement rate. The highest package backed by students was for twenty-eight Lacs per annum, and the average package was around twelve Lacs per annum.

Teaching skills of faculty members are quite good. The course covers the basics knowledge related to the industry, which makes students free to learn and explore more on their own. Exams are not that difficult to crack with a passing percentage of 50%, which can be done with some effort.

As a final-year Mechanical Engineering student at Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET), I’d say the campus is well-planned, clean, and has a good vibe overall. Our Mechanical Engineering department is pretty well-equipped — the labs like Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and CNC are modern enough for solid practical learning. Classrooms are spacious, usually equipped with projectors and smart boards, which makes the lectures a bit more engaging. The library is honestly one of my favorite places on campus — it’s huge, quiet, and has everything from textbooks to research papers, plus good online resources. Hostel facilities are decent too, with Wi-Fi, clean rooms, and enough space to feel comfortable.Overall though, PIET provides a really supportive environment if you're serious about learning and growing in your engineering journey.

I can confidently say that my academic experience has been very positive. The institute maintains a strong academic curriculum that is well-aligned with industry needs. The faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and always encourage practical learning along with theoretical concepts. placements, especially for core branches like Mechanical Engineering, the opportunities are moderate. While companies do visit, most of them are from IT, service sectors, or non-core industries. Core mechanical companies are fewer, and the salary packages offered are generally on the lower side. Students often have to apply off-campus or prepare for government exams to find better opportunities. In short, PIET provides a solid foundation academically, but if you are focused strongly on core Mechanical Engineering placements, you might need to put in extra effort beyond what is offered on-campus.
