the college life is fabulous.
College Infrastructure
College is really new and modern as compared to old hathroi fort.as earlier was very conjusted and small ,the nevta one is big and ample size for a big batch of students.it has lush green field for sports.
Academics
Academics is very strict here and very systematic .teachers help in making your doubts clear and also clear queries related to your skills and help in gaining experience for other activities.so study is nice
Placements

Campus infrastructure is good, as clean water, hygiene food, hostel facility, clean classrooms, wifi facility, clean and hygienic washrooms, green surrounding etc. all the above facilities were provided by the college.
Academics
Faculty here is super helpful and friendly. Most of the professors teach with real-life examples. They helped every student in polite manner and in every aspect. They taught us in a way through which we can easily understand things.
Placements
Placement is great in our college, more than 70% students get placement. The highest package offered is 12 Lacs and the lowest package is 7 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are Tata Capital, Wipro, HCL, and Google.
The surrounding and environment of the college is good.

It was fun going to this college. My experience was nice
College Infrastructure
One of the best college in Kolkata. The Infrastructure is very nice. All the faculty members are very helpful. It's ragging free campus. The canteen is like a cafe. The library and sports arena is also very nice.
Academics
Academic is nice. It provides career connected course like Ms Office, Google Workspace, Tally, GK Booster and etc. Classes are held regularly and within time. Teachers are very helpful. We don't face any problems in the academic.
Placements
Our college provides placement opportunities to all the students. Every year they brings so many options for the students. If someone need any placement the placement cell of our campus helps them to get the placement.
Keep working hard here ,you will eventually get good rewards
College Infrastructure
Yes it has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. the facilities i have in my classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports centres and hostels are wifi smarts boards etc and yes there's clean spaces and good food
Academics
I am studying BBA in Digital Marketing because I want it and quality is good. Yes my curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field , yes my studies makes me ready for the jobs and also for the higher studies
Placements
Quality of placement is above the average at my college and almost all the students get placed , i am not sure who got the highest salary package and the average is salary is offered like 6-8 lpa so it's good overall
Campus Life
Awesome
Anything Else
Nope
It's has been good till now. Got great friends:)
College Infrastructure
Infra wise JDMC is genuinely impressive. The campus is clean, well-maintained and lowkey one of the prettiest among DU colleges. You've got greenery galore, a good 4.8 acres sports ground, and a great library. And washrooms? Ridiculously CLEAN for a college, which is a saying something in DU standards. The hostel is inside the college and it is well built. The classrooms are decent. There's an open auditorium and overall vibe feels fresh! JDMC's campus won't disappoint.
Academics
Academically, Jdmc is pretty solid. The teachers know what they are teaching and most of them are serious towards it.(Commerce) Timetable because of SEC and VAC (under NEP 2020) can be bit hectic and classes can take place upto 5-6pm too (of some SEC subjects) but overall the course is well-structured. The internal marking and assignment system is treated seriously, so coming in and turning things in on time really counts.
Placements
Placements at JDMC are okay-ish. but not something you can rely on. The placement cell is active and does bring companies but don't expect big brands or crazy high packages. It's not the best but much better than other off-campus colleges.
Campus Life
Campus is great. I personally don't like the open auditorium. Societies conduct various workshops too. Fest season is really living. Rest depends on person to person. I have got 3-4 incredible friends, so mostly, anyone can get the people they vibe with.
Anything Else
JDMC isn't perhaps perfect, but it's certainly preferable to a lot of off-campus colleges of DU. The best thing is, it's connectivity to the metro(5min walking distance). If it would had been located in North Campus. I would choose it over Daulat Ram College.
Giving a review to my college is good experience.
College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is decent, but there's room for improvement. The classrooms are well-maintained, and the library is a good resource for students. However, the campus could benefit from more modern facilities and better maintenance of existing ones. The canteen food is okay. Overall, it's an average setup that could be enhanced to provide a better experience for students
Academics
The academics at the college are average. The faculty is knowledgeable, but the curriculum could be more engaging and relevant to student needs. There is a limited scope for practical application. However, the college does offer some good courses and resources. Overall, it's an average academic experience that could be improved.
Placements
The placement record of the college is average, and many students struggle to secure good job opportunities. While some top companies do visit the campus, the number of students they hire is limited. The college could do more to improve industry connections and provide better training to students to enhance their employability. Overall, the placement support is not up to the mark, and students often have to rely on their own efforts to secure jobs.
For now my experience is excellent with my college
College Infrastructure
Personally their infrastructure is good, and the amount of greenery there is makes it more special and the red brick style walls makes it look old which has its own charm. The classrooms are spacious and their laboratories have all the equipment required for a student
Academics
It has a strong academic reputation as we all know it is famous for science, commerce and humanities. It also has high cut off which shows how hard it is to get admission in this college. The quality of teaching here is excellent
Placements
The placement cell of it is run by a team of students under faculty supervision, and according to the seniors the b.com(hons) and economic (hons) students get the best placement offers from companies like Deloitte, accenture, byjus, etc
Campus Life
Campus life is the one thing you will love there so many fest of people with different cultures where they represent their cultures and fashion. The people here are from all over india. Here you’ll grow academically and personally
Anything Else
If you get this college and thinking about wether you should come here or not. Then let me answer that You’ll enjoy the people here the, the college and fests and I guarantee you YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Anything Else
Good college and really good academic
Mind-blowing experience it's help for upcoming students
College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is somewhat good but classrooms benches are old , no wifi connection and laboratories are huge books are available then we'll maintained campus neatness and living space is clean.
Academics
Acdamic wise is good and teaching is so quality our curriculum updates are conducted in recent developments in our field teachers are more knowledgeable, helpful persons they teaching is excellent any time they clear doubts.
Placements
The quality of placements is average because maximum students are not selected in getting jobs and the highest salary package offered is 4 lakhs per annum to minimum 2.5 to 3 lakhs per annum to start ups companies.
Campus Life
Well and good attractive campus.
Anything Else
No
Good teaching skills are develop in this college
College Infrastructure
Infrastructure of this college includes all the basic facilities it has 1 library includes all the necessary books it has auditorium, cafeteria, and nurse facilities are also there, wifi is also provided
Academics
I am studying b. Ed which will help me to become a teacher. The teachers quality is really good they are really helpful. But they give us too much assignments which is also good for us to learn more. Yes this college makes us job ready
Placements
About placement I cannot say much they really don't provide 100% placement . This college is basically known for providing good b. Ed courses but placement system is average. Only 40% placement is there
College should provide placement with good package
College Infrastructure
Infrastructure of the college includes playground and a Hall where functions and festivals were held. Parking is not there but students park there vehicles in the ground. Classes were there but benches were broken
Academics
I study master of arts english as I want to become english teachers in future and will do b. Ed after that. Teachers take our assignments, semester wise papers are held. Sometimes an extra subject environment included
Placements
Placement is low in this college if anyone wants to get placement they should join another college but fees wise this college is okay. But government should focus more on infrastructure and placement should also be provided for great future of students
Solid.
College Infrastructure
It is okay, but can be better. Buildings and structures are usually old. Washrooms need proper development ( big problem), Grounds are not accessible to students for sports (another big problem) and Canteen's food can be better.
Academics
Good faculty, helpful and supportive. (Only if you ask first) Other than that the quality of education is the main thing about the college and they cover syllabus properly and don't take fines for low attendance like other colleges.
Placements
Didn't take part in so can't say. But the placement cell is very coordinative and helping in getting students internships and towards the end I noticed all putting good effort to bring good companies in so students get selected.
Campus Life
It's okay, not that great. Small campus and already made groups. It took me 2 years to find the right people and have the time of my college life including 4-5 trips in just the span of 10 months. So it's all luck because the crowd is diverse and they like to stay with familiar ones only.
Anything Else
No.
The college is good for pol sc. One can consider it
College Infrastructure
It offers a clean, well-maintained campus with modern classrooms, equipped labs and a resourceful library. Basic sports facilities and separate hostels are available. Campus is green and peaceful, with plenty of trees and open space
Academics
The political science faculty is experienced. The syllabus is well structured. Faculty are approachable and encourage active participation. Classes are interactive with presentations and regular assignments being given.
Placements
There is no dedicated recruitment drive for political science honours students. Jobs mainly in internships, media, NGOs and think tanks. The course is better suited for those aiming at civil services, policy making , journalism etc. rather than direct corporate placements.
Campus Life
Campus life is vibrant and engaging. You get to make friends with people from different backgrounds. The college has a diverse student body and clubs, societies, cultural events etc. Students actively participate in debates, sports etc.
College should really purchase some new books in library
College Infrastructure
Our college infrastructure have all the necessary infrastructure like study material are provided library is there classes held but facilities are not good library is there but books are torn are some are lost also
Academics
Teachers are normal they take classes according to their mood. But I was in ncc department also. Where my faculties are really nice they are really helpful and I really enjoy my college graduation 3 years with them.
Placements
Placement systems is 5 percentage in this college. I haven't heard or experience any placement system from this college mostly studies student Or toppers get it. The average salary offered to those student was 15000 per month
College experience is always great as you learn new things.
College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is average. Classrooms didn’t have proper ventilation and labs have outdated computers and also library has limited collection. In terms of sports need improvement. Canteen also has limited options.
Academics
The faculties are also average. Some teachers are helpful and also knowledgeable but others lack in teaching methods. There is a need for more interactive and practical learning. The curriculum are updated but the teaching mechanism is not updated.
Placements
Placements are not at all good for BCA students. No core technical companies visit and most offers are from BPO or sales roles. College lacks for proper training and placements support for tech careers.
Campus Life
The college campus has basic facilities but lacks proper maintenance. For activities you can play games. Most of the students, teachers and staff are helpful. Location is good, it is safe and it can handle emergencies pretty well as there is a hospital nearby.
