Facilities are okay, with classrooms that are functional and equipped with WiFi and smartboards. Laboratories meet basic needs. The library is large but lacks some newer resources. Sports facilities are acceptable, though not always fully utilized. Hostels need better cleanliness, and food needs improvement.
Academics
Engineering was my choice because of the variety of career options in this field. The teaching quality is satisfactory, with professors providing a good theoretical foundation. The curriculum, however, is a bit outdated and could be improved to cover more modern advancements like IoT and 5G technologies.
Placements
The quality of placements for engineering students has been excellent, with over 80% of students securing offers. The highest salary package ranged between 25 and 30 LPA, highlighting strong industry connections. The median package stood at 11 to 12 LPA, which is competitive in the engineering sector. The placement process was smooth, with the college offering tremendous support at every stage.

NIET has a modern and neat campus, especially the MBA block. The classrooms are installed with projectors and also seating is very comfortable, thereby supporting learning. The library stands out with its very high collection of books and material on research. The canteen can get too full during peak hours which becomes a small problem.

The MBA program is well structured, with the balance of theoretical knowledge and case studies. The value added through guest lectures by industry professionals is immense. Sessions do feel a bit rushed at times, as there are too many packed in the schedule. Professors are approachable, but practical tools like Excel, Tableau, and CRM would have been more helpful.
Placements
Placements support is good to the marketing and HR streams. But very few placements occur in the IT and finance streams. I have enjoyed the preplacement trainings to my whole satisfaction as a girl because the communications and confidence-building sessions have taken over there. Mostly, reputed companies are coming, but all the positions offered were at entry levels. Further development may be required from them to fill the higher-level posts

NIET has a very vibrant campus life due to management fests and cultural programs. As a girl, I feel the campus is quite safe with proper security and staff support. There are so many clubs and activities, but at times, workload does not allow taking up all of them. Campus greenery is refreshing.

Yes my college do have all the facilities that is needed for a student.classrooms have good quality of benches and large blackboards as well as smart boards , there is Gymkhana in our clg , laboratories have all equipments we can experiment with our own experiment under mentors guidance . Our clg provides wifi and has password for every student . Yes hygiene is maintained in the clg .

I am studying in electronic and telecommunications engineering . Teachers try their best to provide knowledge academically as well as how the particular instrument will be used in College is soon going to update the curriculum. As I'm currently in 2 year which has just all the basic knowledge but further till 4 th year it will make me job ready

The college campus is of international level with well-equipped library, computer labs, seperate hostels for boys and girls, modern canteen, 2 auditorium. Our campus also had 2 play grounds and certain indoor games also. College campus has 12/7 doctor available during emergency.

Teachers are qualified with appropriate degrees. A friendly environment can be seen between teachers and students. The curriculum lags a little to make the student industry ready but still it is better than other colleges. Difficulty level of semesters is not much due to the teaching. Approximately 80% students pass the exams in one round.
Placements
Around 80% of our seniors were placed in top notch companies with an average package of 7 Lacs per annum. Recruiting companies included ITC, Wipro, TCS, Zomato, Paytm. Students were placed for job in field of sales as branch manager. Few among them were placed in banks.

Placements in this college is average. In 2024 total btech students is 3000 near by but 550 something student are placed. And highest package in this college is 45 lpa. And avg package is 8to 10 and lowest package is 2 to 3.

The college infrastructure is poor, as the college is very old. The hostel conditions also are not so good, not clean enough, and the warden is not responsive towards our complaints.other than that all facilities are available.

All the faculty members are good except for the principal, who is not very effective. With a monthly salary of 2 lakhs, someone more capable could do a better job supporting the students. However, the other teachers are great at both teaching and engaging in other activities.

The placement opportunities are not great, and the college does not have a very significant role to play in helping the students get jobs. They mostly give the degree, but if any company comes to the campus, the packages are always very low.
