we have a huge lush green campus of 25 acres with all the facilities(wifi, library, canteen and student operated store). downside is city is 35 km away and will face difficulty in transportation. Hostels are also clean

I am currently studying PGDM Core. The quality of teachers are good, the curriculum is updated but need to be more competitive according to recent needs. the teachers for BAIT are not good you will have to do that by your own

the placements were good but not for the current year. many students are yet to be placed, need to bring more companies that are better. companies for marketing are coming but not many for finance roles

campus life is good. the campus is quite far from city so hanging out with friends late night is good. Night life is great. various clubs does activity and will keep you engaged. no hostel timing curfew

I was doing my chemical engineering degree there.it was good and got some good knowledge in chemical engineering. The curriculum is getting updated properly. The practical classes are helpful in understanding the subject.
Placements
There are some placement drives every year. But usually the companies coming are IT based. TCS & Infosys are consistent recruiters. There are also some companies with civil background. earlier some chemical companies used to come but we didn't get offers during our period.
Campus Life
We had a good Campus Life with lots of freedom as it was a government college. There were many cultural, extracurricular programs organised by our college union during that time. The technical fest also had active participation from almost all the students.

The government engineering college kozhikode is comparatively a new college when compared to other government colleges in kerala. But It provides a better education with their faculties and facilities. the laboratories are top notch in our chemical engineering department with some special equipments useful for research purposes. The library is also a good source of reference during exam time. The students had a good time there learning and also enjoying our college life.

Placement is less when compared to other colleges because its a small college with less number of students. Then also placement activities had been conducted in lesser way to help us to find job opportunity.

My college life brings in online platform due to COVID. I got interacted with the new friends through online. After that we met in our physical classroom which was a nice experience. Then slowly changed to interact from online platform to offline world. This was my first phrase of journey in my college life. Then we all get involved in college activities. Spend a lot time happily and peacefully. Enjoyed a lot. That was memorable . Then it suddenly ends because the time moves as fast as everything.

I am studying political science honours to understand what the actual political areas is. Our college's teaching quality is very good, each of the teacher is highly educated and supportive. Our curriculum is updated and includes all recent developments.

The quality of placement is good at our college. Our college is very supportive at placement department. Nearly 80% students got placed every year from our college. The highest package is around 5.4 lakhs per anum While the average package is around 2.3 lakhs per annum.

The college was on the school campus itself but had really good facilities and amenities. The college has buses for short distance. The library was the standout point. It had a three floor library. The college was well ventilated too.

I would have given a five but the reason for not giving is language problem. The faculties were very helpful but they resorted their teaching in Malayalam which was very difficult for me to understand.

I don't have an idea about the placement as I was pursuing CA. I feel the placement cell should have more clarity since they were the only intermediary between the students and the companies they were applying to.

Infrastructure is amazing. Classrooms are good with required number of desks and benches. There are good projectors in classrooms. Labs are equipped with equipment to perform exercises. Each corner of campus gets cleaned by cleaning staff regularly. Canteen food is Ok. Hostels are of good quality. Library is top notch with good amount of books and digital records. Computer labs are also amazing.

i studied ECE. During my degree days, the professors mainly focused on covering the syllabus so that the students can prepare for university exams. Teachings were Ok to pass the exam, but I doubt how many of them were able to create interest in students regarding the topics they taught. I guess current curriculum which they follow now, is more relevant to today's industrial standards.
Placements
Placements are Ok. Some mass recruiters regularly visit the campus and many gets placed in those companies. Most of the companies come from IT industry. So there are minimal core companies which visit the campus.
Campus Life
The college is located at Mookkannoor, few kilometers away from Angamaly, Ernakulam. There are regular bus services in that route. The place is safe and calm. Campus is mainly live during Arangu(cultural fest), Nautilus(tech fest) and Bharatam (inter college fest). Other than that, there are many clubs which conduct regular activities. Also, IEEE works are very prominent. Campus has a permanent ambulance for emergencies. Canteen is fine and there are great facilities for sports and extracurricular activities.

I had a great time during my grad days. I made good friends and memories which I would cherish forever. Its only after the college days, reality hits you. So then comes the thought of ROI and other stuffs. I do hope the college is better now with respect to the curriculum they are following and the placement scenario. I would recommend students to look in to the latest placement reports and understand that.
