I am not satisfied with hirakud college.
College Infrastructure
The classerooms are so spacious. Infrastructure was not so good. The washrooms are not hygienic. There is no security guards appointed so outsiders enter the college any time. Hirakud college is situated inside a forest like place so we didn't feel safe.
Academics
I was pursuing B.Com at Hirakud college. The faculties are good. Many times the time tables were not set properly. The exam conduted was in a systematic manner. During the internal exams there is no strict checking which lead to indiscipline.
Placements
Our college doesn't provide placements. I had not applied for any placements so i don't even have idea about the placement system. May be student got some corporate job by placements. It's so difficult for me to say about it.
Campus Life
The college campus is so dangerous. The activities like annual function, freshers parties, farewell, and many seminars were conducted.

I don't like our college campus and also not satisfied by the infrastructure. The exam system is perfect but the study time table is so unstable. The activities or functions conducted there were nice. The managerial system is good. I totally disagree the fees structure.

Every classroom has a projector and a smart screen. The library is excellent. It has daily newspapers, international journals, and books related. Thou the college don't have the big campus but still working on its infrastructure

The faculty members are very organised and planned. The campus is very good. Ragging is strictly prohibited. Smoking is strictly prohibited. The study pattern of the college is good the teachers are nice and cooperative
Placements
Placements can get better, placement cella are not active aand especially not accessible to everyone in college. Even the college is getting high number of packages eg PGDM 51 LPA & MBA 48LPA still the average package is not take good.
Campus Life
The campus life is fantastic. The nicest part about this college is that they have a variety of festivals and tech opportunities for students. All the festival are celebrated in all and even many more events are celebrated.

The teachers has no industrial knowledge they mostly provide theoretical knowledge only which makes no sense for students the syllabus is very simple and not as per expectations so for studies this college is not good

Placement packages are very less and but place department brings many companies for interview but it lacks training for students the number of students getting placed is not as per expectations so getting into this college for placement is not perfect

I am currently in the first year of the electronic and communication department.All the professors who have taught us are good and guided a lot if I have any doubt questions.The curriculum is well developed.

2023 is one of the greatest year in the NITS.As the highest package salary increases from 50lpa to 80lpa.Tge ece highest salary was 55lpa and more than 89 percent were placed in the companies placement

The college has all the necessary infrastructure facilities. The campus is 30 acre campus and is fully green. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned, Smart and the campus have wifi everywhere. Everything is well maintained and used. Hostels and mess are also clean. College have good sports facilities and gym but doesn’t have swimming pool.

The college provides practical as well as theoretical learning. All the faculties are very well educated and curriculum is also up to date with industry standards. College even conduct workshops by industry professionals and every course includes case studies.

The college has 100% placement record. The placement committee does all the efforts to get every student placed for internships as well as final placements. The highest package for the previous batch was 25lpa and average was 12.5lpa.

Poor infrastructure. The college does not have even the basic facilities and equipments. We don’t have computer labs or even a basic playing ground. The classes are clean but the class structure is also not good and chairs are uncomfortable

The academics is very average The course structure is not at all logical I’m doing pgdm and I’m in the 2023-2025 batch and my expectations are not fulfilled here. The professors are nice but the syllabus is not up to the mark

The curriculum of the course is up to date and is updated every year according to the AICTE norms. The college focuses on practical learning more than just theory and this makes the students of the college job ready.

The quality of college placements is very good as many top companies visit the campus like, TCS, Intellipat, Amazon, etc. Approximately 70 percent of the students were placed from my batch. The Highest package was 16 lakhs and the average was between 5-6 lakhs.

Faculty is very understanding, and mostly are phd holders, some teachers are new too who are studying and simultaneously completing their phd degree the results are on basis of both semester and i feel even more difficult than ordinary process.

The highest salary package of this university is 20 lpa and almost 75% of student get placed rest focus on higher studies, maximum package is provided by companies like Microsoft and top roles offered are for sde, data analyst and others.

Yes , my college has all the necessary infrastructure , facilities and equipment . Many skilled professors are available and also supports various kinds of sports activities . There are spacious libraries and equipped labs for experimental subjects ,which are a benefit for all the students .

I'm currently in the branch of ECE . I would say it was overall good about the quality of teaching . The curriculum will be updated on the basis of recent developments and changes etc. Laboratories will be the most important role in your practical study approach .

The quality of placements of this college is too good. As this college is very good the placement is also very good. Approximately 80% - 90% student got placed . The placement cell also conducted mock interviews and provided us with feedback, which helped us improve our skills and confidence .

The facilities available are sufficient for good well being. But the most problematic thing is connectivity. It lags alot and there are LAN ports in hostel but even they lack many a times. The equipment labs, sports arena, classes all are quite well maintained. The living spaces though are cleaned dully in time intervals as per requirement.

I would rate it average since a first year student is supposed to learn mechanical workshop, engineering drawing, etc which are not required. These subjects don't let students work on improvising skills. Also having all subjects in first year to an expanded extent is not required. The curriculum needs an updation as per current job requirements. Hopefully they have improvised it for upcoming batch.
Placements
The in campus placements are moderate as per university level. But the arena helps student grow and improvise skills that enables high CTC off campus placements. A good percentage of students have been placed. Mostly mechanical department and computer science department take the high packages. The highest remains around 25lpa.

The college infrastructure is not so good its very poor even schools have better infrastructure than this college. No wifi for students, poor hygiene in toilets. They have very small area for playground and no canteen.

I'm studying MBA and teachers just try to anyhow complete the syllabus. They follow school like teaching and focus on passing the exam. The college focus on bookish knowledge which is not enough for students

They don't have satisfying placement company come with less package and maximum placement is for marketing and that too for sales requirements. For other specialization the college is less worth in bringing the placement.

This college infrastructure is not so good but they provide various facilities to the students like a library, auditorium, big playground, indoor stadium, smart room for organizing professional events, etc. They well-maintained their college with beautiful greenery like a vegetable garden, flower garden, etc. Our college also has a hostel facility, parking facility and cafeteria for the students.

As a stream of Commerce, This college is good in Jorhat. So, I studied B.Com from this college with a Marketing specialisation. The teaching quality of this college is good but they can also improve the quality of teaching to attract more students. The college offers various courses like BBA, and BCOM with a different specialisation. No, I do not think that this course helps me to be ready for the job.

The placement quality of this college is poor. Few companies came for the campus placement otherwise sometimes they conduct Job fairs for the students to grab the opportunity of the placement where companies take parts like NEXA, Mahindra Automobiles, etc. There is a very small percentage of students getting placed in college. The average salary offered by the company is approx 1.5 LPA. Otherwise, the college is good and supportive.

Government TRS college is one of the most recognized college of my city, it is spread across a vast land , which includes playgrounds, stadiums, garden etc. The college has a decent infrastructure and all the required facilities are provided there.

I studied BBA and I feel the curriculum was good for the course, it covered all the aspects that one would need to know about to get a good grasp of his/her domain. Regarding the quality of teaching, it is decent , students need to attend with focus.

I think it lacks in the placement segment, may only top few scorers get the placements. I do not have much information regarding the placements but overall from my experience I can say that it wont do any good to you in this.

You may have a good and excellent campus life as cpj college has a world class infrastructure, canteen with delicious food, backyard area and auditorium, college also organises the industry visit for the industry knowledge and experience, workshop for enhancing their skills, internship and placement drives for hands on experience
