Well student teacher ratio for theory classes is 1 teacher for 100 students approx.,proff voice is inaudible mostly.for labs ratio is 1 teacher and assistants for 40 students. Labs are well equipped. Placements are poor for civil engineers in core branch but if you want to go towards coding then it is just fine. Infra is overall poor - Cricket,football and hockey are played on same field with little space. I would suggest if you are taking CE then focus on your linkedin profile from first day.

My branch is CSE because earlier computer was my subject. The Quality of teaching is very good in my college and the teachers are really helpful and supportive.Teachers here most of them are PHD holders or graduated form reputed colleges.The Affiliation of college is from MAKAUT and its syllabus is frequently updated.All new technology are included in the new syllabus which makes you job ready and perfect for the industry.

Placement Scenario for Non Core branches is very good in this college. Many IT companies like WIPRO ,TCS ,COGNIZANT and many more comes to our college and each year nearly 60% -70% of students are placed in campus placements from these branches. For core branches the placements is average,many companies also come for core branches. College The average package is between 4 LPA to 6 LPA and highest is around 10 LPA in our college. College also has placement cell to train students for placements.

The College Campus is very Eco-Friendly and Environment is very green.The college campus has a Canteen which is well maintained and affordable, Separate hostel for both Boys and Girls and there is a Medical Unit free for students. Location of college is little away from main city but all daily needs are easily available around the college

Campuses are divided across the city as per the specialties at SOA. Like engineering has a separate campus and management has a separate one. So the infrastructure is divided and you do not get to avail of all the facilities. The classrooms are generic and you do not get smart classes or boards. The librabry is the best one in the state. There are no sports centre on any campuses though. The hostels are basic. There is a food court on campus 1. Wifi is available on campus.
Academics
The SOA university is the 21st best university as per NIRF rankings 2019, so it's a pretty good option. And the quality of teaching is conservative with updated carriculum though. Recently ML/AI was added to 6th semester curriculum. The curriculum do not make you job ready.
Placements
If you are from CSE/CSIT branch, one thing that I can gurantee is that you will be placed. Almost 80% students geet placed from engineering summing up all the barnches. Highest was 20 lpa(CSE). With average CTC of 3.5lpa.package. The college is supportive.

The campus life is bleak. There are clubs and other student's activities that you can engage in and add some extra curriculum to your resume. The teachers and the support staff are conservative and traditional. They don't support radical approach.

I really liked the college infrastructure. It provides every basic facilities to their students. All the blocks are equipped with lift and well air conditioned laboratories. I am persuing btech cse and a 4 sem student. This institute is well known for quality education. Really liked thier teaching system. All the teachers and faculty are very experienced and always there for your help. The curriculum is also up to date and worth for learning new things. The course prepares usbfor industrial Job in this modern era.

Each year more than 500 companies visit campus for the campus placement. The average package here is about 4 lakhs per anum with highest package of 32 lakhs per anum. College prepare every student for the placement as it has a special training department which prepares student industry ready with amazing skills and talent.

Campus is very beautiful and clean. There are four cafeteria and a food court for the students alonwith subway. One can really enjoy the campus life. All types of sports also available here in the campus. apart from these hostel are also good and reasonable. There are many parks inside the campus for the students to enjoy.

I am studying bcom but not so fascinated about it because there is not quality education available in my college faculty . my study don't makes job anymore. The quality of teaching is so bad. I don't want to graduate from this college.

I don't have experience of placement yet but i should say that there is not as such placement available in my college. I think the average salary would be around 10000 to 15000 month. You can imagine this is not a good packageper.

The college infrastructure is one of a kind. we have a huge reading room which can fit at least 70 students and there are 3 sections of the library where students can work, study and refer books and newspapers. we have 24/7 WiFi, multiple sports grounds & courts. the housing blocks are well kept & neatly maintained everyday. the academic building as well maintains cleanliness & has multiple food joints to offer to the students during breaks. there are 5 mess areas for meals (veg) & a foodcourt.

the campus life in JGBS is wonderful, the environment is very student friendly .i have been a member of the operation, marketing and performing arts club for 3 years now. the college hosts events and fests for all the students which is an out from the academic life. me being a girl studying in JGBS far away from home (bangalore) will assure that the campus is extremely safe and one cannot find any kind of difficulties in getting along. the staff, faculty and wardens are very warm and welcoming.
