The college has the necessary infrastructure.Chalks and blackboard are available in the classrooms.And WiFi is also available.Dogs often come in the corridors...Otherwise the campus is hygienic and clean.

I am a student of b.tech 1st year ECE branch.And quality of teaching is good.In physics semester..physics teacher was not available but otherwise the teachers taught well..In chemistry sem. teachers are arriving regularly and teaching well.

I do not have much idea about the placementsas i am in the first year but acc. to the seniors the placements are alright.And students from rtu are also working in various areas like ISRO and various other fields also.

College campus is embraced by nature as there is greenery almost everywhere.I love the spectacular view of peacocks and birds around us.This is the most beautiful feature of RTU,Kota and worst feature is that the huge campus area can be utilised much much more which is not being properly done.Students and teachers are friendly and caring.And it is safe too.

My review of the SRM Institute of Science and Technology
College Infrastructure
The infrastructure of the KTR campus is the best among the other SRM campuses. For the freshmen year, the classes take place at the University Building for all departments whereas for the other years at Tech Park or High-Tecg block. The classes in Tech Park has no AC, with some broken chairs and unhygienic toilets. Hostels are decent but very overpriced, the mess food is manageable .
Academics
Some teachers are a gem to learn from, but most of the teachers don't have a proper knowledge of the subject. Most students resort to self-study. The curriculum is up to mark and follows the modern norms.
Placements
The placements have been good for the past 2 years, with median package of around 3 lakhs pa, but some high profile students have packed a hefty package. The only problem faced here is that KTR campus conducts placements for the students of other SRM campuses in Chennai, Haryana, NCR, so there will be much competition.
Campus Life
The campus life is excellent. You will get loads of oppoertunities for building your portfolio and learning new skills. Milan cultural fest, is one of the best college fests in the country,with many known celebrity gracing with their presence. Although, in the past couple of years, the campus have witnessed some violence from the localities residing near the campus.

As it is an Engineering college, it should have all the latest equipments and modern technology which it is lagging at the moment. Classrooms are quite old and need renovation to be honest. Also classes should have the facilities of smart education.

I am pursuing B tech in Mechanical. The quality of teaching is quite good but some departments have the scope of improvement. The curriculum is quite orthodox and needs renewal. Because our course doesn't match us up with the levels of examinations like GATE.

The placements has been decreasing year after year and is a major cause of concern. There are quite talented students in all the departments passing out with good grades but fail to secure a job worth their hard work.

The campus is good and large, but with no real protection. There have been cases of stealing , robbery etc which is unacceptable inside an educational campus. Also there are frequent cases of leopards entering the campus and hostels. And nothing has been done to ensure our safety.
I have a very good experince here.

Every branch has their own seperate labs and the lab has all the necessary equipments present. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the college campus as well as in the hostels. Improvement is needed in hygiene of living spaces and fod of hostels. The library is very well maintained and have all required books for all branches.

Techquip has funded the college for three years and have sent Gate qualified teachers to the college to make students improve in technical field. Free gate and EST classes also provided from last year. According to me it's make your job ready.

Replacement of this college is very average and the minimum package goes 3.6 lakh per annum padhaai chapter 8 lacks. IT companies like TCS ,CapeGemini ,Wipro comes here. The T&P cell of the college if supported for the placements.

The college campus consists of gym and playground for cricket,volleyball, basketball etc. The campus is very near to railway station approx 10 minutes and is safe. The college has different clubs in which student can participate and perform different activities as per their interest.

Professors are good and qualified from IIT. Curriculum is as per required in the era of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Syllabus is designed as per with IIT syllabus because IIT Bombay is mentor of our Institute but still you have to study all basic subjects in first year(mechanical, workshop, electrical, ED etc) . Some teachers go to lower NIT to teach and organise sessions and workshops.

Placement is average. Average package of cse is 7lakh.24 lakh package is offered by adobe but it is off campus. Capgemini offered 8 lakh package this year. Placement of mechanical department is good. Hindustan Unilever offered 10 lakh package this year. Placement cell is working in this area and strong alumni network is growing per year.
