teachers in our college are very helpful and most of the faculty are well qualified doctorates. when it comes to quality of teaching , it is not pretty good .faculty here have good knowledge but they lack in explaining it to the students.

the average placement for a civil student is around 3-5L . the highest package is 5.5L which is highest of all and the lowest package is around 2.5L. thus the placements here are not that pretty well and only few get shortlisted and in that only few get selected.

In terms of academics MAIMS has one of the best teaching staff in and the quality of teaching is quite amazing as compare to other college. Curriculum is quite update in the college. This job makes me JOB oriented.

Placements are quite average in my college and the placement team is not that much active in the college and students don't know about which companies are coming them. Very few students get the placements. Average salary companies offer here are 2-3 lakh per year.

In my department I can say that teachers are ready to update themselves. Recently department introduced new syllabus and that dealing contemporary needs. Peramanat faculty are well qualified and trained. They are very open to the students. But in UG course(first 3 years of MA integrated) department teaching largely dependenting on Guest faculty.

Jadavpur University boasts of its placements.Nearly 75-80% of the students are placed with the remaining 20-25% aiming for higher studies and competitive entrances,which they crack with flying colours.As of 2019,the highest package offered was to the CSE department,with a value of 42 lpa.Overall,the median package for all streams combined lies between 5-5.5 lpa.For my stream,the highest package on campus was 11 lpa,with the median package of 4.74 lpa.I can't say much about process,being in UG-1.

I can't explain how unique the campus life is. It is one of its kind. It has all sorts of people from all over India. One learns various cultures along with various subjects. The ratio of males and females is 1:1. The teachers, support staff, students are all unique and good. I felt really homely out there. At times of distress, you can easily talk to someone. Some of the faculties have treated me like their child. I cannot forget their help. Both in studies and outside studies!
