It's amazing the college took the stadium that was made for common wealth games so the scene is amazing we really have cute dogs hanging around us but canteen is small but you will always have the perk of being in North campus of DU

I am pursuing BCA from this university because I have searched for many colleges for BCA and I found best and suitable for me. Course curriculum is updated regularly with choice based subject . You can pursue BCA with cyber security too .

Quality of placement is quite good . Highest salary package for BCA was 6.5 LPA and Average salary was around 2-3 LPA . Yes, college conducts placement drive to make their students ready and confident . Most of the faculties are supportive and honest to their profession.

•Pros- The science and engg. faculty is brilliant! Labs are well equipped, new labs are being built. Libraries are also equipped with large no. of books. Campus has its own gym for students. Also each department provides free Wifi to students. Also no restriction on attendance. Food is extremely good. 5-6 cantenes are here and they are fantastic! You may find the campus a bit dirty as there are posters due to a political environment here. But apart from it, campus is quite clean and beautiful.

I am studying B.Sc mathematics here. Quality of teaching is quite good except a few professors. Apart from the bachelor's level , masters and PhD level are also one of the best in West Bengal. Yes syllabus has been updated after new CBCS system being introduced in sci-faculty. Also the engg. dept provides a good syllabus that helps to pursue research/industry in near future. Students can learn coding too.
Placements
Engg. placements are brilliant . Average salary ranges between 10-15 lakhs for top tier streams like CSE,ECE,EE and a bit lower for other streams. Science placement after B.Sc /M.Sc is not that good though the placement cell is working hard to secure placements in recent years. Though most students get to research after MSc and majority of them get into posts of lecturers in colleges of west bengal after completing PhD.

College Infrastructure
The college has some really good infrastructure and all the basic necessary facilities to run a college in the city of Mumbai. Every department has their own laboratories and can accomodate large bum of students at once, especially the physics and chemistry departments. Besides this, the college is well known for it gothic architecture all across India. There is a wifi connection available on campus and is open to all students. There is a chapel for prayer and silence and a canteen good food.

I am doing my BSc at St. Xavier's and will major in Chemistry because it is my favourite subject. I like the way the course has been structured and the faculty is very experienced while they teach the various courses. The curriculum is updated every 3 years so that the students and aware of the various discoveries and are in sync with the modern times and concepts. The examinations too are very easy if you study regularly.

There is a placement cell present of campus and is run by a very senior and experienced faculty member of college. There are some very huge cmpanies which come to campus every year to hire students. Most of the placements are for the Arts and self financed courses because it is perceived that Science students should do their Masters inorder to get placed well. So incase you are from the arts or self financed courses, be sure to get picked up by big companies if you do your bit too!

I think the best part of the college is its magnificant architecture that we are surrounded by every day of college. The students who come to Xavier's and all good students with big ambitions in various fields of their interest. Students come here from all over India to study. The teachers are always there to support us in times of confusion and difficulty. The college is located in a very prime location in South Mumbai, just a few meters away from CSMT railway station.

Placements are average because mostly IT sector companies are visit in the campus. Highest package is 19 lpa . Placement is good for IT,CSE and ECE branch students. Very few core company are visit in the campus.

The University has various campuses all situated nearby to each other for different campuses. All the campuses have a lot of greenery in it which makes it a very soothing place. The infrastructure is very modern as the university is not so old. The laboratories, sports complex and all other facilities are top notch. The B.com building is bit old from outside but is being renovated from inside. The Central and the Arts and Science campus is superb.

I studied BBA. The quality of teaching is very good and the teachers are very helpful to the students. The teachers will help you in any problem and are always ready to solve the problems. The curriculum is updated every semester with minor changes and is of top standard.
Placements
There are no placements for BBA students in AMSOM as till my graduations. The placements are mainly for the PG students in management. The Career Development Cell handles the department of internships and placements.
Campus Life
The campus life is outstanding as the rating says because you will find a lot of fests, conferences, sports events and clubs activities happening every week in the college. We also have musical nights which go like for the whole nights and many more events. The clubs organize their activities on Wednesdays and Fridays. The campus is totally safe with all the emergency facilities installed. It also has SETU for handling emergencies.
