While the campus is clean and well-maintained, most of the students are females here, so one can consider it as a girls college. Although the infrastructure is very good with all the necessary equipments.
Academics
Lady Amritbai Daga College (LAD) is well-regarded and known for its supportive faculty and solid academic programs that creates a conducive learning environment which pushes all the students. There is no fault in the academics.
Placements
From my connection some students have mentioned that placement opportunities can be limited here and the topers or most of the students goes to pursue higher studies or education. So, you have to think once if u want placements.
But there is only room for curriculum up students

The hostels are well-maintained with adequate space, proper ventilation, and essential furniture. The quality of facilities like washrooms, common rooms, and drinking water is generally satisfactory and regularly maintained. The mess food is decent, with a fixed menu that changes daily

The teachers are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most have good academic or industry experience. The teaching quality is good, with some using modern tools and real-world examples to explain concepts. The curriculum is relevant and covers key subjects needed in the industry. Projects, labs, and internships help students gain practical skills

60-90% of students get placed in the course, with the highest package of 10 Lacs per annum and the minimum package of 2.5 Lacs per annum. Some of the top recruiters for our course include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and Capgemini. 70-80% of students get internships from this course in the best companies like TCS, Wipro, startups, and local tech firms.

In our college, there are many resources we can access to expand our knowledge. There is a library, classrooms with projectors and well-equipped labs. The food in the canteen is good and for sports people, this is not there place. There are no fests, only once per year.
Academics
Faculty: The faculty are good and they are very friendly. They will help and guide you on anything. They will encourage you to do projects, R&D, etc. The course curriculum is now updated and very good. Each semester has projects to improve practical skills. The passing percentage is average; we can pass easily .
Placements
50% of students in college are placed in different companies. The highest package is 24 lacs, and the lowest is around 5–6 lacs. Goldman Sachs is the top recruiter and there are different startups that regularly recruit students as interns. Many students got software engineer and web developer roles.

College Infrastructure
Wi-Fi is well-set up in labs to code frequently. There are no hostels in the college itself. A canteen is present in the college. It offers a variety of stuff which are liked by many of the students so that they can eat and relax in the canteen.
Academics
The majority of the teachers are helpful and qualified. This course curriculum is relevant like all colleges. We have minds and end-semester examinations every semester. The difficult level of the college is easy to moderate level so that students can pass the exam if they study accurately.
Placements
About 20 to 30% of students got placed in my course. The majority of start-up companies offer placements. The highest package is 14 LPA. The average package offered here is 4.5 LPA. The recent highest package is offered in the role of AI developer.

KG Reddy College has limited placements in the period of 2023 to 2025 and the college is visited by some small companies like Luke, Flipkart, TCS, and DXC. The highest package offered is 10 LPA and the lowest package offered is 3 LPA at the college.

We do not have a hostel facility in our college, but they can help you find a good one closer to the college. The network is probably average to bad for me in my classroom. The labs are decent, we have a library with hundreds of books, and also a digital library. The classrooms are spacious.

The teaching staff is helpful, and the quality of teaching is decent in all aspects. The course curriculum is relevant. It was not tough if we prepared well for the exams, the pass percentage is 65% or around 70%. The curriculum was designed to prevent students from feeling pressure
Placements
Around 30% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 16 LPA, the lowest package is 5LPA, and the average is 7LPA. Top recruiters are Tech Mahindra, Forget alumnus. Everyone from my course at IBM during the 1st year of my college. They also provide internship later in the first year.

The college placement cell organizes workshops, aptitude tests , mock interviews etc . So soft skills / preparation support is there. If you pick commerce , you likely to have better chance to get better placement.

Over all campus life is good . Good infrastructure with good teachers and many fests were there . You can participate in different societies for different activities and get involved in it . You can enjoy there .

College Infrastructure
No infrastructure at all. Very poor condition, students are very upset the way college is built and its services are also not good. The college is situated at a very remote area with no facilities and frequent construction work going on in the college campus.
Academics
Honestly speaking, the academic condition of my college is quite disappointing. Most of the classes feel unplanned and lack proper structure. The focus seems more on attendance and grades rather than on learning and practical knowledge.
Placements
The placement situation in my college is honestly very poor and disappointing. Despite all the promises made during admission, the reality is completely different. Very few reputed companies visit the campus, and most of the opportunities offered are either low-paying or irrelevant to the students’ fields of study.

When I was studying there, the infrastructure was quite good. The classrooms were clean and well-maintained. The library had a decent collection of books that helped me make my study notes. The campus was compact and facilities like an internet connection, a canteen was there and some classrooms also had smart boards.

The English department was strong with teachers who were knowledgeable and always helped the students whenever needed. Being a college of Calcutta University, the syllabus followed was mainly according to the curriculum but our professors often added extra readings and discussions to make classes engaging.

If I be honest, the placement opportunities were quite limited for the English students. There were occasional campus drives but mostly it was focused for the commerce students. For English honours students the college did not have many direct job offers.

My campus life was good but not very happening. There were annual fests, seminars and cultural programmes that made the experience memorable, but the daily life on the campus was rather quiet. I had made some amazing friends but I wished the college had conducted more events.
